Lacy Park & Community Center

This past Saturday was nothing short of amazing. We partnered with Tulsa Alumnae Chapter-Delta Sigma Theta Sorority,Inc for there annual Ring the Alarm event focused on combating childhood obesity. The goal is to make families aware and provide education and information. The community came out and we had a great time

The Easter egg hunt will go on regardless. If it rains we will move it to the inside

WINTER WEATHER CITY SERVICES UPDATE:

• All Tulsa Parks and Recreation centers will be closed on Tuesday, February 18, and Wednesday, February 19, due to "life threatening weather". City closures also include Centennial, Oxley Nature Center, and Tulsa Garden Center.
• Mohawk and Page Belcher Golf Courses will be CLOSED until at least Friday. Re-opening will be determined by course conditions.
• The Williams Crossing Pedestrian Bridge and unheated restrooms will be closed until at least Thursday. Trails will not be plowed until snowfall has ceased so trails may be hazardous.
• The Tulsa Zoo will be closed Tuesday through Thursday.
• The Tulsa Performing Arts Center, BOK event center, and Convention Center will be closed to the public Tuesday and Wednesday. At this point, public events scheduled for this weekend will go on as planned.
• The incoming weather has been called "near blizzard conditions" by the director of Tulsa Area Emergency Agency over the next couple of days in Tulsa.
• We plan to re-open Parks and recreation centers on Thursday, February 20, but that also depends on the conditions of the weather in the next couple of days. Be sure to look for updates on social media.

Here are our Tulsa Parks Holiday hours! Make sure that you screenshot this or save this to your phone so that you can have this schedule at your fingertips. We will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Pickleball will still take place on Dec. 26 and Dec. 31 at Whiteside and all centers will close at 5 p.m. starting Dec. 23 - Jan. 3 with the exception of Waterworks closing at 4:30 p.m.

All Tulsa Parks facilities will be closed tomorrow from 10:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. We will for sure get back with you as soon as we return. We apologize for the inconvenience in advance.

Tonight at 6:30p we will be having our annual Halloween Festival partnering with the Black officers coalition and Phi Beta Sigma Inc Kappa Tau Sigma Chapter. Bring your kids out for some fun, games and a safe place to get a bunch of candy. Will you be here?🫵🏻

We had fun hosting the https://www.facebook.com/share/mGJ1sNuekfoYC8rA/?mibextid=LQQJ4d Breast Cancer Awareness Walk. It was very informative and the crowd had a great time. We want to take this time and say we appreciate everyone that came out to be apart of the event.

Sparky's Spooktacular Trunk or Treat is coming to a park near you!

There will be over 40 trunks that will be available at McClure Park that will have a host of inflatables, fun, games, and most importantly candy!

This event is also FREE and will be on Saturday October 26th, from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm. Come on out to Tulsa Parks and enjoy the spooky event.
