This past weekend, our team had the opportunity to work alongside Stored Goodness Inc. for their annual backpack giveaway! Families were able to pick up backpack and school supplies to help start the schoool year off right.
We are grateful to partner with incredible community partners like Stored Goodness and Tulsa County Sheriff's Office (TCSO) to support local families and make a difference in our community. 💚

There's still plenty of summer left to get outside and hit the course. Whether you're a seasoned player or trying disc golf for the first time, the park is a great place to spend the day! Plus, it's free!

The summer heat is doing exactly what Bermuda grass loves: keeping it healthy, strong and growing.💚 To keep our fields and greens in top condition, our maintenance team is hard at work aerifying the turf. Aerification promotes deeper root growth, improves soil health, and helps ensure our baseball fields, football fields, and golf greens stay healthy and playable through the rest of the summer and into the fall.

Over the past 60 years, O'Brien Park has grown into a place where home runs are hit, touchdowns are scored, and families come together to make lasting memories. From youth sports to community celebrations, the park has become a cornerstone for recreation, connection, and tradition in Tulsa County.
In 1962, Northside County Park opened to the public and was mainly used as a picnic area with six concrete picnic tables. In 1966, the park was renamed O'Brien Park in memory of Commissioner Frank O’Brien.

Last night, we celebrated another great season of our Youth Baseball League at Chandler Park and O'Brien Park with an end-of-season pool party at SoCo - South County Recreation Center! After months of hard work, teamwork and fun on the field, players and their families enjoyed an evening of swimming as they celebrated a season full of great memories. Thank you to all of our players, coaches, volunteers and families for making this season a success. We can't wait to see everyone back on the field next season! 💚
