McMurtry Update 5/23/26 10:30am
We are racing!
Most of the course is in good shape (wet but solid ground) and will improve today. The lake area received about 0.3” of rain.
There are 2 spots that are muddy.
We’re going to bypass one of them which will shorten the course but we plan to add a lap to offset times.
The one muddy spot will leave ruts but they can be fixed. And we’ll continue to work it through the day

Don’t forget there is a $6 park entry fee. And camping is available. Register online if you want to camp

It’s time for favorite game of “Did it rain us out”
Our local crew Friends of McMurtry have scheduled a meeting for midday tomorrow. We will assess the trails and make our best decision as early as possible.
As always, OKXC will try to respect the trails and our racers time. We promise to make this decision in a timely manner and allow you to plan you weekend accordingly.
