💙 Important First Mile Update

This isn't the update we hoped to share.

Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, the outdoor venue for today's First Mile event is no longer usable. We were made aware of this challenge late yesterday evening and immediately began exploring every possible option. Ultimately, we realized we couldn't safely deliver the experience our participants, sponsors, volunteers, and community deserve on such short notice—and that simply isn't who we are.

First Mile has always been more than a group run. It's the unofficial start of training season—a chance to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new running friends, and take those first miles together before celebrating at the finish line this fall.

We're incredibly disappointed, and we know many of you are too. Thank you for your understanding, your grace, and your continued support of the Williams Route 66 Marathon and TTCU Tulsa Run.

We'll see you this fall. ❤️

The Route 66 Marathon and TTCU Tulsa Run are teaming up once again for First Mile—a free community event designed to kick off training season.

Join us at Fleet Feet Tulsa for easy miles, frozen treats, a giant water slide, giveaways, and a chance to connect with Tulsa’s running community.

Whether you’re training for your first 5K, your next half marathon, or just showing up for the snacks, there’s a place for you.
