October 19–24, 2026 | Week 12 💜

There’s always something exciting happening at Alegria Performing Arts Academy, and we’re heading into one of our busiest and most magical times of the year!

🎃 A HUGE congratulations to our performers! Our Folklórico classes, dance teams, and Musical Theatre students did an incredible job entertaining the community at Downtown Turlock’s Trunk-or-Treat this weekend! We are so proud of them!

👻 Halloween Dress Up & Treats Week is coming October 26–31! We can’t wait to see everyone’s costumes!

🎄 Holiday magic is underway! Our dancers are busy preparing for Festival of Lights, the Christmas Parade, and our upcoming production of The Nutcracker: Abridged!

🩰 The Nutcracker: Abridged tickets are on sale, and we’re now welcoming program sponsors! Mark your calendars for our November 15 Picture Day!

🎭 More community performances! Catch some of our Folklórico and Musical Theatre performers at the Turlock Certified Farmers Market on October 31!

🥐 Butter Braid Fundraiser: Stay tuned for our next delicious fundraising opportunity!

At Alegria, we’re about so much more than dance classes. We love creating opportunities for our students to grow in confidence, share their talents, connect with their community, and experience the joy of performing! 💜

📌 Check out our weekly bulletin for all the details! We share these updates every Monday to help our families stay informed and connected.

Thank you to our wonderful families, faculty, and community for being part of the Alegria magic! ✨

Somewhere along the way Media Week became “how committed are you to the bit?”

The answer is very.

Melon Carnival got a pretty big piece of Alegria this year.

Almost 100 of us, performances on both sides of Main Street and somehow everybody ended up where they were supposed to be.

Very long Sunday. Very good one.

Consider this our official goodbye to summer. 🍉
