September 7–12 is Bring a Friend Week at Alegria Performing Arts Academy! Our students are invited to bring a friend to experience the joy of dance, music, and performing arts with them. 💕

Guests must register in advance, be age- and level-appropriate for the class, and attend a class with available space.

They’ve heard enough class lore. It’s time for their guest appearance.

Bring the friend who knows every detail about your dance life, or the one who has been meaning to see what class is actually like.

Current students can invite one new friend to join their regular class this week. It is also Trial Week for all teen and adult classes, first time students can come try a class too.

Register before your visit through the link in our bio. Space is based on class availability.



They already have someone to walk in with, warm up with, and stand next to.

They do not need to know a single step before they arrive.

Trying something new is way less awkward with a friend beside you.

Adult first timers are welcome to try a class for free! Pick a class, register, and come see if it feels like your thing.

👯 Bring a Friend Week: September 7–12
Advance registration and confirmation are required for all guests. Friends must be placed in an age- and level-appropriate class with available space. If your guest enrolls after Bring a Friend Week, your family will receive a $30 tuition credit!

🍈 Melon Carnival registration is officially closed. We’re excited to perform with everyone who registered!

🎄 Christmas Parade rehearsals begin this Friday, September 4, at 5:00 PM! Regular Friday rehearsals will continue as we prepare for the Downtown Turlock Christmas Parade.

🩰 Nutcracker costume measurements:
Saturday, September 12, from 3:00–7:00 PM
Please save the date so every participating dancer can be measured accurately and on time.

💳 September tuition and Melon Carnival invoices have been sent. Tuition is due on the first of each month, and all monthly payment plans require a valid card on file.

👕 Logo and Melon Carnival shirts will be ordered later this week. If you have not submitted your shirt size, please do so as soon as possible.

📋 Please also return any outstanding paperwork, including the Student Handbook Agreement, Medical Form, ADA Addendum, Fundraising Agreement, and Credit Card Authorization Form when applicable.

📣 Director Gabrielle remains out of the office until September 8. For enrollment, billing, registration, or account changes, please email [email protected]. Miss McKenzie and Ms. Rachel are available to help keep everything moving at the studio.

Our Tiny Tunes dancers will be stomping, roaring, and moving like dinosaurs this Wednesday and Friday!

Current Alegria students will have the opportunity to invite a friend who may be interested in joining our studio! Guests must register in advance and attend an age- and level-appropriate class with available space. A separate sign-up form and additional details will be shared soon.

We have a wonderful season ahead, including the Melon Carnival, Downtown Trick-or-Treat, Día de los Mu***os, Festival of Lights, The Nutcracker, and the Turlock Christmas Parade!

There is still time to enroll for our 2026–2027 season! Whether you’re looking for dance, music, theatre, tumbling, or another creative outlet, we would love to help you find the right class.
