The snack shack for the high school game is in need of some help. If anyone is willing to help out for just one quarter, it will help keep the snack shack open all game, rather than closing early.

Hello Parents,

I have copied the home game schedule below for our TAA youth football season. Our first games will take place tomorrow, September 1st at Caldwell Field Complex. Your coach should let you know what time to arrive; typically, this is 30 to 40 minutes (or more) prior to the start of the game to allow time for warmups and game prep. When you arrive tomorrow, please be extra careful in the parking area as there will be small children present.

Registration for the 2025 TAA Youth Football season ends Sunday, August 3rd at midnight (tomorrow!)

Team selections will begin during the week of Monday, August 4th. Coaches will notify parents of their team assignment and practice schedule by Sunday, August 10th. Most teams will begin practicing at Caldwell Field during the week of Monday, August 11th.

Deadline Approaching: Season Registration for TAA Football!

Registration for flag football ends this Sunday evening (August 3rd). Flag football is a non-contact program and a great way for kids entering pre-k, grades 1 and 2 to learn the basics of football.

Players learn basic line formations, ball handling, and develop teamwork skills in a fun setting. Minimal travel is required, as some games take place in Lewiston.

The cost is $65 per player. We are also seeking parents who are interested in serving as coaches for the program. The learning curve is very simple and you do not need to possess superior football knowledge to be a good flag football coach.

Practices begin mid-August and the season runs until mid to late October.

One more thing….If you see our new youth football director, please say thank you to Chris Hanks. He selflessly stepped up into this volunteer role this year, which demands a great deal of personal time and energy. Chris also serves as the TAA youth baseball director for our community.

Our last day of the football clinic is this Friday. We will host a series of competitions for the attendees with awards, and Matt Trimble and his crew will be cooking burgers and hot dogs for the snack shack.
