Good morning Taylorville,,

We will be hosting a Trunk or Treat on October 29, 2026 from 5:30-8pm.

There are 2 things in this email:
1. T-shirts. We are presenting T-shirts for this event. You can see the sizing and order on the attachment. If you would like to purchase a shirt, please reach out to Lyndsey by tomorrow October 23.

2. In order for this trunk or treat to be a success we need your help. We have asking businesses, churches, and school clubs, that are willing and able, to set up and decorate a tent or table to pass out candy and/or other goodies to our players and their families. We would also like any families who want to set up a tent to do so. Again, please contact Lyndsey and let her know you want to set up.

I have attached our flyer with specific information along with contact information. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

After tonight’s games, I witnessed a parent verbally confronting and acting aggressively toward a child who was not his own. I immediately intervened and stopped the situation before it could escalate.

Let me be very clear: this type of behavior will not be tolerated at Taylorville Ballpark under any circumstances. Our priority is providing a safe, respectful environment for every player, coach, parent, and spectator.

If an incident like this happens again, the sheriff’s office will be contacted, and the individual responsible will be banned from Taylorville Ballpark.

Please help us maintain the kind of environment our kids deserve. Respect and sportsmanship are expected from everyone.

Hey folks,
We got the players we needed to close registration, but we are going to leave registration open through the weekend. We are working on drafting teams and should have it all done by next week. Then you will hear from a coach about practices.

We are still looking for a coach for 10U, so if you are interested, please reach out. We can’t draft teams until we have all of our coaches.

Hey folks, we need a few more players in each age group. This will allow us to keep teams small (9-10 players) which means more reps and at bats and less time sitting out. We are going to leave registration open for a few days until we get these numbers:

Teeball - 3-5 players needed
6U - 2 players needed
8U - 2 players needed
10U - 0-5 players needed
12U - 3 players needed

We also need a few coaches. If you’re interested in coaching, please send is a message ASAP!

Fall Baseball registration is officially open and there are several things to be excited about!

We are planning to include TEE BALL this Fall! If you played with us this Spring, then you have already seen some of the changes to our TEE BALL program. We plan to continue making this age group competitive and developmental so kids are ready for Coach Pitch.

TEEBALL COST - $85.00
6U-12U COST - $150

Caps and Jerseys will be included in the registration cost. Our friends at SuperSports donate jerseys which helps us keep the cost down.

We are also adding a single elimination tournament to end the season for 6U-12U. This will take place on October 31st and we will be done in plenty of time for you to get to your Halloween Festivities!

REGISTRATION CLOSES AUGUST 28TH AT NOON!
