All winners have been contacted, and a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who bought tickets to support our team! We were able to raise enough funds to pay for our entry into the Liberty Classic AND at least part of our next tournament. Thank you, all!

I'm pleased to have such a great band of people around us to play with this season.

I did want to take note of something.....

We're a D team. Competitive, yet not going to sandbag to get the plastic trophy or any t shirt. We support each other and we also want to see each other have a good time. We're going to be kind to those around us even when they wrong us. However, I do not expect any of us to be a doormat to anyone else or to be disrespected.

I mentioned in one of the rare posts I make after games last weekend:

If a team is rated many points higher than another and it successfully wins a game by mercy, it's nothing to be proud of. They should be embarrassed. Any team who is doing this is sandbagging and those players are cheating via their coaches and managers who have rated them lower to get better players to win games to get t-shirts and go on to other tournaments to win more plastic and so on and so forth.

We are following codes and bylaws. We are rated as closely to reality as can be.

Practice may be cancelled tomorrow (thanks rain!), but that doesn't mean it's a day off! Cardiovascular exercise is essential; I recommend you follow along with this video to get your heart rate up to prepare for gameday.

What a wonderful tournament we've had to date, so great to see players original and new. I thank all those that kept it professional. I thank those at the Vegas tournament who even when we didn't agree, we kept our composure.

It's amazing when the smart people show it, when the kind people show how kind they are, when the emotional people are concerned for those around them and they feel badly when others aren't as good as they could be.

We on the dark side believe that we enjoy each other. We're not about winning the t shirt by sandbagging. We're not about things like being passive aggressive. We don't want those energies around us. Too many seasons of really harsh egos. We wish the best for those that have not been asked back for spring even though they'll say they left. I can tell you we wanted more peace. We now have it.... looking forward to finishing up in the morning......and spring season.....
