🥎 ELF FAMILIES — WE’RE GETTING CLOSE! 🥎

I’ve had several families reach out to me this morning checking in, asking how I’m doing, and—most importantly—asking when we’re going to get these girls back to work.

I’ve also started getting the first reports from fall games.

And I have to tell you…

I MISS THIS.

I miss being in this facility.
I miss watching these girls compete.
I miss hearing about the strikeouts, the big hits, the great outings—and even the games where things didn’t go exactly the way we wanted.

But most of all, I miss my girls. ❤️🥎

The last couple of weeks certainly haven’t gone the way I expected. My back has forced us to make some adjustments, but one thing hasn’t changed:

I’m not done coaching. Not even close.

Behind the scenes, we’ve been working extremely hard building a new system that will allow me to coach our athletes LIVE and in real time—even when my back prevents me from physically being inside the facility.

We’re investing in new equipment, new technology, dedicated coaching stations for both lanes, upgraded networking, live audio and video, slow-motion analysis, and training assistants who will be inside the facility working directly with me.

And we’re getting CLOSE.

I won’t put the girls back in the facility until I’m confident we’ve built this correctly and can give them the kind of instruction ELF families expect from me.

But I wanted everyone to know…

LESSONS ARE COMING BACK. 🥎🔥

To every one of my athletes playing fall ball right now—KEEP WORKING.

Compete. Trust what you’ve learned. Don’t let one pitch, one at-bat, one inning or one game define you.

And keep those reports coming. Coach is still watching. 😂❤️

A QUICK UPDATE FOR OUR ELF FAMILY ❤️🥎

I wanted to give everyone a quick update because I know many of you have been checking in, sending messages, praying for me, and asking how I’m doing.

Unfortunately, I am still in the hospital.

This has obviously lasted longer than I ever expected or wanted, and right now my focus has to remain on getting through this and getting healthy enough to finally get back home.

I know there are also a lot of questions about lessons, schedules, and what things will look like moving forward with Elite Level Fastpitch.

I promise we will keep everyone posted.

As soon as I know when I’m getting out of the hospital and have a better understanding of what I’m physically able to do, we will communicate everything with our ELF families and make sure everyone knows the plan moving forward.

For now, I just want to say thank you.

Thank you for the prayers.

Thank you for the messages.

Thank you for checking on me.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

And thank you to everyone who has stepped up to help me and my family through all of this.

I absolutely hate being away from my girls and away from the facility, but ELF isn’t going anywhere. ❤️🥎

We may have to do some things a little differently for a while, but we’re going to figure it out together.

We will keep everyone posted as soon as I finally get out of here.

Today, for the first time, this book is leaving my hands.

97 Foundational Believers are receiving their advance digital copies of Protect Their Love for the Game.

These are 97 people who believed in this message before the book was published. Before it was available on Amazon. Before there were reviews. Before they knew exactly what this could become.

They simply believed that youth sports can—and should—do better for our children.

And now they get to read the book that started this entire movement.

We’re still waiting on a few final pieces before the official release, but I decided something:

Britain has been working on her swing mechanics over the last 8 months and boy has she come a long way!! When she first started with ELF she was very raw and had barely any experience with softball. So we started from scratch, broke her down to square one and worked every step of the swing. She’s had her ups and downs, but she’s stuck with it and is making it happen! Very proud of this young lady!!

Clara has been working hard since joining ELF a little over a month ago. She’s moved up to 12U, so she’s dealing with the added distance along with a bigger bas ball. None of that has held this young lady back! Clara had her best lesson yet with not only setting her two new personal bests, but her accuracy and average velocity greatly improved as well!

Congratulations Clara!! Keep working hard young lady as the best is yet to come!!

🥎 UPDATE FOR OUR ELF FAMILIES 🥎

ELF Families,

I wanted to give everyone an update because I know many of you have been waiting to hear what is going to happen with lessons as I work through the situation with my back.

First and foremost, I want you to know this:

I have every intention of continuing to coach your girls.

Depending on what happens medically, there may be a period of time when I simply cannot physically be in the facility teaching the way I normally do. Instead of waiting until that happens and scrambling for a solution, I’ve been working on a plan that will allow us to continue your daughter’s development even if I have to coach from inside our home.

We are putting together a new live virtual coaching system inside the ELF facility.

Both pitching lanes will have their own dedicated iPad and mobile coaching station, giving me a live view of the athlete while she is pitching. I’ll be able to watch her mechanics in real time, communicate directly with her, make corrections, prescribe drills and continue coaching the same things we work on during our normal lessons.

My daughter and/or some of the college girls I’ve worked with will be physically present in the facility to assist me. They’ll help position cameras, demonstrate movements and drills when necessary, and record high-speed slow-motion video so I can get an even closer look at mechanics when needed.

I will still be the one coaching your daughter.

That’s extremely important to me.

I’m not trying to replace our lessons with a prerecorded program, hand your daughter off to someone else, or simply put a camera in the facility and hope for the best.

We’re building this specifically so I can remain actively involved in every lesson and continue giving each athlete the individual instruction she needs.

We’ve invested in dedicated equipment for both pitching lanes, upgraded the facility’s Wi-Fi system, built dedicated audio/video stations, and created a system for getting slow-motion pitching video directly to me during lessons.

These girls mean far too much to me to simply put everything on hold.

We’re going to thoroughly test the entire system before using it with our athletes. I want the technology to become almost invisible—the girls come in, warm up, pitch, work and get coached just like they always have.

My hope is that this is only something we need while I get my back situation figured out and recover. But we’re also building something that could ultimately make ELF better and give us additional coaching capabilities long after I’m back in the facility.

Most importantly…

I’m not going anywhere.

I appreciate your patience, your prayers, your understanding and, most of all, the trust you’ve placed in me to work with your daughters.

We’ve always said that the best is yet to come.

I believe that now more than ever.
