What a way to kick off the first Twinsburg Brats and Brews Bash! Thank you to everyone who came out to Glen Chamberlin Park on Saturday despite some rain to enjoy the music, food, b**r, dancing, and stein-holding contests in German tradition - there was plenty to celebrate.

A special Danke schön to the Twinsburg Chamber of Commerce and Pepperl+Fuchs for helping make the event possible, and to all of our entertainers, food trucks, vendors, volunteers and staff who helped bring the day together.

Registration for fall session 4 swim lessons is now open. The registration opening was postponed due to the temporary closure of the Twinsburg Fitness Center indoor pool.

If you’ve been waiting to register, now is the time. Visit TwinsburgRecreation.com for session dates, class information and registration. Or stop by the fitness center front desk during customer service hours: Monday-Friday 5:30am-7:30pm; Saturday 7am-2:30pm; and Sunday 9am-2:30pm.

Still time to sign-up for 6:30pm stein hoisting contest on the Pepperl+Fuchs Entertainment Stage. *Please note time and stage change. Ten (10) people will participate in each competition. Males against males and females against females. 21 and older only. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time. Participants will receive a 1L Mug filled with b**r. Winners receive a commemorative 12oz Brats and Brews Bash Mug with one fill and a Brats and Brews Bash t-shirt.

MEET THE ENTERTAINERS for Twinsburg's Brats and Brews Bash | Conrad Haller Duo

Conrad Haller and Ray Gravelle have been playing in the Cleveland area as a duo since 2014, as well as in their band RCD. They play a wide variety of music: rock, pop, singalong standards, and some Polkas as well.

Sign-up for a stein holding contest at 3pm or 6:15pm. The first ten (10) people for each contest will participate in a competition - males against males and females against females. 21 and older only. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time. Participants will receive a 1L Mug filled with b**r. Winners receive a commemorative 12oz Brats and Brews Bash Mug with one fill and a Brats and Brews Bash t-shirt.

City of Twinsburg Parks and Recreation School Day Off Kids Rec Camp is now registering kids ages 6-10. Kids enjoy their day off of school at the fitness center playing sports, games, swimming and more from 7:30am-3pm. Aftercare is available until 5:30pm for an additional $10.

TFC member: $35/day per child
Non-member: $55/day per camper

To register visit TwinsburgRecreation.com or in person at the Twinsburg Fitness Center (10084 Ravenna Rd) during customer service hours Monday-Friday from 5:30am-7:30pm; Saturday from 7am-2:30pm; and Sunday from 9am-2:30pm.

MEET THE ENTERTAINERS for Twinsburg's Brats and Brews Bash | DJ Kishka

In the blustery winter of January, 2005 a WILDMAN was born…With the help of The Happy Dog Tavern, Dj Kishka pulled himself up out of an old pile of musty Polka 45’s, armed himself with one turntable, donned his fake beard and fedora, put a feather in his cap and rallied the five people at the bar to tap their feet to POLKAS!!!A true purveyor of the old-school polka records of the 1940-60’s, Dj Kishka was voted Scene Magazine’s Best Club DJ in 2010.

Dj Kishka has been bringing Polish, Slovenian and the occasional “Liechtensteiner Hour of Power” into his shows that have been sold out for more than 20 years!

Dj Kishka resides mainly at the Happy Dog Tavern once a month, but has been known to play private parties, corporate events, and emcee weddings as well as many other Polish nooks and crannies…playing for everyone from kids to grannies!
