The Tyler Spartans 17U/18U team opened the summer season with a perfect 5-0 weekend, fueled by dominant pitching and timely hitting from top to bottom.

On the mound:

⚾ Peyton Sherwood: 7 IP, 1 BB, 9 K
⚾ Logan Davis: 7 IP, 1 BB, 7 K
⚾ Landen Osborn: 2.1 IP, 0 BB, 4 K
⚾ Gabe Tatum: 3 IP, 0 BB, 6 K
⚾ Nathan Vance: 6 IP, .174 BAA, 1.167 ERA

As a staff, Spartans pitchers held opponents to a .139 batting average all weekend.

At the plate:

🔥 Tucker Samples, Hudson Harry, and Kyndall Tausch led the way with 5 hits each
🔥 Ethan Buck paced the offense with a .500 batting average, 3 stolen bases, and 6 runs scored
🔥 Hudson Harry led the team with 3 RBIs
🔥 Conner Hayes delivered the biggest hit of the weekend with a walk off triple

A true collective effort from the entire roster. Great start as we begin our summer season!!!

Help us congratulate Gabe Tatum on continuing his baseball and academic career at Mid-America Christian University.

Gabe has been a longtime Spartan, joining the organization back in 2020 as a 12U player. Over the years, we've had the opportunity to watch him grow not only as a player, but as a young man. He's another athlete who has prepared himself physically and mentally for the challenges that come with playing at the next level.

This is just the beginning, we're excited to see what the future holds and can't wait to follow his journey at the next level.

Officially Registered®️

A major milestone for the Tyler Spartans Baseball Club as our logo is now officially federally registered with the USPTO®️.

What started as a single vision continues to grow into something much bigger. This organization was built to create opportunities, develop athletes, and leave a lasting impact on families throughout East Texas and beyond.

We’re thankful for every player, parent, coach, and supporter who has helped build the Spartans standard.

Another Spartans athlete headed to the next level ⚔️

Manuel Williams, infielder out of Pine Tree High School, has committed to continue his baseball career at Wiley University.

Manuel has continued to develop into a complete player with a strong arm that has been up into the high 80s on the mound, smooth infield actions, and a clean, consistent swing at the plate.

Proud of the work Manuel has put in over the years and excited to see him get the opportunity to play at the next level. Congrats, Manuel!!!

Help us congratulate Tucker Samples on signing with Bethany College this past week. Tucker was our first Spartans commit this past fall.

The Samples family came to us through Coach Cook, who has coached Tucker for several years. We’ve been incredibly thankful to have their family in the organization and grateful for everything Coach Cook brings to the Spartans program through his deep roots in the DFW baseball community and the relationships he’s built over the years.

We’re excited to see Tucker get the opportunity to continue his baseball career at the next level and represent the Spartans program well. Proud of you, Tucker!!! ⚔️

Congratulations to Brady Pollard, one of the original Tyler Spartans from our very first 11U team back in 2019, on signing with University of Mary Hardin–Baylor this past week.

Brady is a true example of trusting the process, staying consistent, and continuing to work over the years. Couldn’t happen to a better kid and family.

Moments like this make it all worth it! Proud of you Brady!

Established in 2019 by former professional infielder Chris McFarland of the Milwaukee Brewers organization, built on a solid foundation, professional structure, and long term vision.

Same leadership, same name, professional business structure, and a consistent standard of development going on 7 years.

We continue investing back into our players and families through our facility with 24/7 in season access, an all pro and college coaching staff, and player development resources. We also have connections to national level programs and events.

Two 2026 players already signed to play college baseball, with more to come.

If you’re looking for a serious developmental environment with structure, accountability, and high level instruction, we’d love to see you at tryouts.
