Tyler, Texas Firefighter Challenge Event

The event is free to spectators. All activities will be located in the parking lot of Broadway Square Mall, 4601 S. Broadway Avenue close to Sears.
The Brookshire’s Scott's National Firefighter Combat Challenge is a competition that pits firefighters against one another racing a course designed to simulate some of the day-to-day obstacles firefighters face.

Congratulations to the Tyler Fire Department's Over 40 firefighter team as they took gold this weekend at the Scott Firefighter Combat Challenge U.S. Nationals! The team included Tyler firefighters Terry Hawkins, Brandon Davis, Brent Hail, Jeff Barnett and Randy Lee.
A special congratulations goes to Terry Hawkins who also won gold in the Over 50 Tandem event!

The Brookshire's Firefighter Combat Challenge started with the teams giving a tribute to the Tyler Fire Department in honor of the recent loss of Tyler Firefighter Travis Milligan. Firefighters have bond no one else can understand!
