Doesn’t look like the sunflower fields will make it till September! might be a bust this year. On the bright side we are keeping the fat and happy for season!

Pray for all of it. I grew up and practiced until recently to save my prayers for big things that carried a lot of weight. The idea was to not burden God with little things or meaningless things that didn’t warrant his attention. Now I pray for all of it, all the time. Pray my kids have a good day, that my wife is happy, that we get rain or have a sunny day. I talk with the big man a lot more these days. I think of it as building a relationship where one has been absent or lacking in the past. I don’t pretend to know the answers to life, but this sure has helped me when I’m doing good or when I’m not on top of my game.
