What a busy weekend for the Tyndall First Sergeants! 💎

Friday morning started with the POW/MIA Remembrance Run—honoring those who were held captive, those who remain missing, and the families who continue to wait. We remember them, we honor them, and we will never forget. 🇺🇸

Then Saturday, we traded the running shoes for mess dress and celebrated 79 years of the United States Air Force! ✈️ From those who paved the way to the Airmen carrying the mission forward today, it was a great night celebrating our heritage, our people, and the service we’re proud to be a part of.

Busy weekend, full hearts, and always proud to serve alongside some pretty incredible Shirts. 💎

🔒 325 MUNS is officially LOCKED IN! 💣

Huge shoutout to the Tyndall Military & Family Readiness Center for stopping by the 325 MUNS Commander’s Call and making sure our Airmen know about the resources and support available to them.

As First Sergeants, connecting our Airmen and families to the right resources is a huge part of what we do — and partnerships like this make that mission even stronger.

Big thanks to Tyndall’s ALS Class 26-5 for showing up this morning to help set up our new cool down rooms! 🙌

When emotions run high and First Sergeants respond to situations requiring couples to be separated for everyone’s safety, these rooms provide a critical, calm space to de-escalate. It’s a small setup with a big impact; helping keep our Airmen and families safe during some of their hardest moments.

Thanks to Operation Warmheart, each room is stocked with bedding, towels, dishes, and cleaning supplies — the essentials to make a stressful night a little easier.

We also want to recognize the SAPR and Integrated Resilience Offices for providing resources that will be left in the rooms for anyone who stays there, making sure no one feels alone when they need support most.

This is what community looks like — teams coming together to take care of our own. 💙

We gratefully acknowledge the support provided by Tyndall’s NCO Academy Deslauriers Flight in renovating our food pantry.

Their assistance allowed us to dispose of expired food, streamline our storage, and enhance our capacity.

Operation Warmheart is conducting a diaper drive from May 5th to May 15th to replenish our food pantry supplies. Donations can be delivered to any First Sergeant's office located at Tyndall AFB.

Thank you goes out to ACC’s Command First Sergeant, Chief Landry, for taking the time to come out and show love to the Tyndall First Sergeant Symposium. You poured into our undershirts, current shirts and future First Sergeants—breaking down the application process, sharing your expectations of the diamond, and just taking the time to connect with all of us.

We truly appreciate your interest in getting out to the squadrons and seeing firsthand what our Airmen experience here at Tyndall. Your time, insight, and mentorship this week meant a lot.

Wishing you all the best as you approach retirement—just know you’ve always got a place back at Tyndall anytime you want to visit, Chief.

Huge congratulations to all of our graduates from the Spring First Sergeant Symposium 2026!

This past week was filled with meaningful discussions, shared experiences, and a whole lot of growth—and every one of you showed up and impressed. It’s an incredible feeling knowing we’ll be able to hand off our phones for a much-needed break to such professional, capable, and solid individuals.
