Monthly Capoeira in Ukiah starting next Sunday the 23rd! Come play!

Tomorrow Feb 4th from 1:00-4:00 PM there will be a celebration of 10 years of Capoeira Força de Agua and an honoring of our beloved Mestre Amunka. Capoeira, Samba de Roda and BBQ throughout the afternoon.

Today marks ten years since our beloved Mestre Amunka Davila passed into the next world. All of us here at Capoeira Yokayo and so many in the greater Capoiera community have been impacted by this man's presence, patience, wisdom and humor and he is deeply, deeply missed. The body may dissolve but the spirit endures. Axé Mestre Amunka, until we meet again.

Our dear friend and Capoeira Yokayo sister Pippi has tragically lost her husband Adam to cancer. If there's anything you can contribute to the needs of Pippi and her daughter, it would be greatly appreciated.

Wednesday 7:00-8:30

We will be following COVID guidelines we will practice at 6 feet apart and wear masks.

At the same time there will be simulcast Zoom class. For those who do not wish to attend in person.

First class is free.
15$ a class or $60 a month.

(Persons coming to class with a member of your pod or household will be able to play closer than 6 feet with that person.)
