Excavators finished today defeated by, yet again, single digits. They put up some serious competition this weekend against teams and players above our age division. (Some of our players are already playing up a level)
Not only did we give these older teams a run, but we scared them, and made them nervous to the point where they had to redirect their plays to try to beat us.
Every single game was a great game to watch!!
ALL OUR PLAYERS contributed to each and every game.
Players that struggled last year with getting shots up, PUT SHOTS UP this weekend!
Players that struggled with certain ball handles last season, dribbled through traffic, picks, and double teams this tournament.
Players that were timid on defense last year stared opposing players in the face as they shut down their offense in this tournament.
To say coaches are proud of our players is an understatement. Each and every one of them showed tremendous improvements.

It can only go up from here!!!

GREAT JOB THIS WEEKENED. Loosing never feels great but knowing that you gave it your all and had a great weekend of games is a beautiful feeling to leave with.
Take those emotions, use them to bring it even harder next weekend!!!!
