Night #1 of the North Dakota Non-Wing Nationals sponsored by Tipsy Turtle-ND is in the books. We are gearing up for night #2. It is going to be a chilly one, but the concession stand is going to be prepared with soup and hot chocolate! Pack the blankets and hats and join us for the last night of the season.

The pit gate will open at 3:30pm, draw cut off at 5:15pm, and racing starts at 6pm!

Order of events:
(2) nonwing sprint car qualifiers- 8 laps
Stock cars heats- 8 laps
(2) nonwing sprint car dashes- 6 laps
Modified heats- 8 laps
Intermission

The North Dakota Non-Wing Nationals sponsored by Tipsy Turtle-ND kick off tomorrow night at 7:00pm!

Please remember, Modifieds and Stock Cars park along the free standing panels. Nonwing Sprintcars park along the west side tree row or in the middle row (if needed) with the tow vehicle facing east.

Order of events:
- WRSS pit meeting at 5:20pm
- Motor heat to follow
- Hot laps for Non-Wing Sprintcars/Draw cut off at 6:00pm
- MCS pit meeting at 6:30pm
- Group 1 qualifying line up at 6:50pm
- Qualifying at 7:00pm - 2 groups
- Stock Car heats
- Modified heats
- Intermission (Quick Time Interviews)
- WRSS Heats 8 Laps
- Stock Car feature

There is not an ATM on the grounds and the concession stand only accepts cash.

The last event of the season at McLean County Speedway is this weekend! The North Dakota Non-Wing Nationals presented by the Tipsy Turtle-ND are set to take place on Friday, September 11th at 7:00pm and Saturday, September 12th at 6:00pm. The IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Stock Cars are on tap for both nights as well!

The McLean County Fair ND will be hosting a Market Day on Saturday, September 12th. The information is provided in the pictures.

The non-wing sprint cars will park against the west tree row and along the middle row (Those who park in the middle row should point their tow vehicle to the east). Modifieds and Stock Cars will park along the free standing panels.

More details for the weekend will be posted throughout the week. We look forward to wrapping up the season with this event!

A fun day planned for Saturday, September 12th! This will take place on the fairgrounds on the second day of the doubleheader next weekend!

The Nonwing Nationals sponsored by the Tipsy Turtle-ND with the IMCA Modifieds (sponsored by 12s Farms) and IMCA Stocks race Friday, September 11th at 7pm and Saturday, September 12th at 6pm.

There will not be any event taking place on Sunday at McLean County Speedway, sport compacts included. Unfortunately, the low count of committed cars does not feasibly allow us to host this event. It is not only the loss of money through the purse, but the cost of insurance, running the facility, and the lack of gate money. Before choosing to complain, please consider solutions for the future such as presenting potential sponsors, getting more driver involvement, and other possible changes. The board appreciates the individuals who consistently commit to enduros and we do hope to be able to host you again in the future.

Enduro drivers need to pre-register by 5:00pm today in order to be considered in the decision! The board will make a decision by the end of the day.

Register for the MCS Enduro on Sunday, August 23rd. Please understand that we cannot operate an Enduro with minimal participation, so if you want an Enduro then encourage individuals to participate.

Enduro drivers, Enduro Racing ND, we have an event planned for you at McLean County Speedway on Sunday, August 23rd at 3:00pm. However, the lack of participation across the area throughout the summer is concerning to our team. We have provided a pre-registration link below. Please take the time to complete this before Wednesday, August 19th. At that time, our board will make a decision based upon the pre-registration numbers. We want to provide this opportunity, but we also have to be realistic about the financial and time commitment on our end.

Register for the MCS Enduro on Sunday, August 23rd. Please understand that we cannot operate an Enduro with minimal participation, so if you want an Enduro then encourage individuals to participate.
