25 YEARS. 🖤
September 1, 2001 – September 1, 2026.
Today, Union UTA Martial Arts officially celebrates 25 years.
It’s difficult to put a quarter-century into words.
25 years of teaching and learning.
25 years of students walking through our doors.
25 years of friendships, families, challenges, victories, laughter, tears and memories.
We’ve watched children grow into adults. Students become black belts. Black belts become instructors. We’ve watched people find confidence they didn’t know they had, overcome things they didn’t think they could, and carry lessons learned on our floor into the rest of their lives.
That is what these 25 years have really been about.
The world has changed since September 1, 2001. Martial arts has changed. Our community has changed. And Union UTA has grown and changed along with it.
There have been incredible highs and difficult lows. Recessions, a pandemic, changing generations and countless challenges.
And we’re still here.
But 25 years is never accomplished by one person.
It belongs to every instructor and staff member who gave their time, knowledge, loyalty and heart. Every parent who trusted us with their child. Every student who stepped onto our floor. Every family, friend and supporter who believed in us.
Some were here for a short chapter. Others have been with us for years or even decades.
Every one helped write our story.
We’re proud of what Union UTA has become—not simply because our doors have been open for 25 years, but because of everything that happened inside them.
The friendships. The lessons. The confidence built. The challenges overcome. The black belts tied around waists.
And generations of students who walked through our doors unsure of themselves and eventually walked back out into the world standing a little taller.
That is our legacy.
To every student, parent, instructor, staff member, friend and supporter who has ever been part of Union UTA:
Thank you.
Today we celebrate where we’ve been.
Tomorrow, we begin the next chapter.
Happy 25th Anniversary, Union UTA Martial Arts. 🖤
