Checks are now being accepted at the Community Foundation for Fayette Gives!

Easy steps to contribute:
-Fill out the Fayette Gives check contribution form.
-Write a check payable to “CFFC” for a minimum of $25.
-Mail it to 250 West Main Street Uniontown, PA or drop it off at the Community Foundation.

For your convenience, we have the Fayette Gives check contribution forms at the Welcome Center.

We would like to give a warm welcome to our newest hire, Pedro Tavarez.

Pedro will be starting in the Fitness department as a certified personal trainer. You can purchase 1-25 sessions at the Welcome Center to train with him. Just request Pedro at your time of purchase.
—Also stayed tuned for fitness classes with an emphasis on safe and effective training in the near future 👀

Pedro has experience at the UFC Gym in Pittsburgh for the last four years, leading private small group MMA fitness sessions for youth and adults. He is also DotFit certified, working as a personal training for the past seven years.

To me the YMCA represents community, family, growth, and service. I want to be a part of an organization that shares those values and gives me the opportunity to make an impact right here in Uniontown.”

Tonight, we’re shining a spotlight on our After Hours Warriors! 💙💛

Long after the Y closes, Katie, our Night Shift Lead, and Renee and her team at Black Ivy Facility Services are working behind the scenes to care for the facility our community depends on.

A special thank you to Katie for stepping into a leadership role, helping train new staff, create consistency between crews, and fill a much-needed gap. And thank you to Renee and the Black Ivy team for adding extra days while we work to provide Katie with additional support.

Caring for our Y is part of caring for our community, and their work helps us live our mission every day. Thank you for serving our Y family, even after hours! 💙💛
