Communion Park Monday Night Tournament
Date: June 3.
Individual play tournament with prize money.
1st $50, 2nd $40 3rd $30, 4th $20.
"Five Closets to Basket" at $10 a piece (limit one win per player). $100 Ace Pot. Entry fee of $5.00 includes dinner, drinks, snacks, ace pot and play. Dinner and sign in at 5:45 and shotgun start at 6:30. Player limit first 36.

Disc Golfer BetterMan Study

What? Pastor David Lindow and Dave Jones will be conducting an 11-week series entitled Better Man. No, it won’t teach you to throw like Ken Climo or Paul McBeth, but it will teach you to be a better man. The study is a Bible-based video series with discussion.

When? The study will begin on January 31 at First Baptist Church Universal City from 6:30 to 7:45.

The dates and topics are as follows.

Why? It is my heart to help men fulfill their greatest longings and callings in life. It’s also to my desire to hang out with men who don’t normally hang out in church. Over the past three years I have met some great guys on disc golf courses, and I would love to expose them to what God’s Word has to say about manhood. No, “in your face preaching”, just solid teachings that will enhance the life of any man.

Cost? Free. We will cover the cost of your workbook and other miscellaneous stuff.
