Dear Community Partner,

The University City Police Department is excited to partner with St. Louis BWorks to host a free Earn-A-Bike program this summer for youth ages 8–17. We are currently seeking participants and would love your help connecting this opportunity to families in your network.

Program Overview
This 6-week program teaches bicycle safety, basic maintenance, and riding skills through hands-on learning. Each student will work to rebuild a donated bike, and upon successful completion of the program, will earn:
A refurbished bicycle
A new helmet
A bike light set and lock

Program Details:
Location: Heman Park Community Center
Dates: Tuesdays, July 22 – August 26
Time: 6:00–8:00 PM
Participants must attend all six sessions to successfully complete the program and receive their bike.

The program ends with a group ride through Heman Park, giving students a chance to apply their new skills in a safe and supportive setting.

If your organization serves youth or families who may be interested, we would greatly appreciate your help sharing this opportunity or referring individuals directly. Space is limited, and registration is currently open.

Swim Level Evaluations on Saturday, April 12, 9 a.m. - noon. There are limited spots so sign up soon by emailing [email protected].

Registration for the summer season opens on Friday, May 16.

The season will run for four weeks from Monday, June 2 - Thursday, June 26 at The University City Natatorium. $250 flat rate.

Practice times are Monday - Thursday:

Level 1 4:45-5:30 p.m. (45 mins)
Level 2 4:45-5:45 p.m. (1 hour)
Levels 3 and 4 5:30-7 p.m. (1 hour and 30 mins)
Level 1 (group 2) 5:45-6:30 p.m. (45 mins)

Swim lessons are for ages 5-12 and will run for 8 weeks from Saturday, Jan. 25 to Saturday, March 15.
