Somehow we are to our last week of preparation for the upcoming volleyball season!? We will be working hard from 10AM - Noon all this week.

The 1st day of practice is Aug. 7th at 3:30 PM in the main gym. You must have a physical to be able to participate, so either take care of it now or sign-up for one of the free physicals being offered. You must follow their protocols properly to get a free physical. Don't be the athlete left behind.

We will also decided on our team shirts THIS WEEK. The design, color, what you want it to say, everything. That way we can have a mock up of the shirt BEFORE the school year starts. You can show your parents, friends, teachers as early as possible, so we can get them as early as possible.

The University City Lady Lion Volleyball program is overwhelmed by the outpouring of support it has received recently. We cannot thank you all enough. While we are a little short of our goal, I am sure that we will reach our goal by July 7th.

So a thing happened yesterday where people from all parts of the volleyball world came together to support the University City Volleyball program. Some people were current players, others graduated 20 years ago. Some people picutred are coaches, some only play adult indoor volleyball and some only play pick up doubles. There were even some people attending who didn't have a connection to the program at all - but we all met up yesterday supporting University City Volleyball as it's bonding agent. This was a great 1st event, but I know it can be even bigger and better next year. We will do it again next some time next summer.

Thanks to the STL Sandbar for hosting. The venue's atmosphere helped shape the event and made it feel that more special. We will definitely be back next year!
