Christin Haygood
Jessi Wood While winning is valued, it is not our top priority.

Mission Statement:
Our mission is to provide a fun, safe, and healthy environment through softball that fosters the development of both athletic ability and essential life skills. We aim to empower young student-athletes to grow into confident individuals and supportive teammates, both on and off the field. Our Process:
We focus on building life skills such as teamwork, camaraderie, service, resilience, and the power of a positive attitude. Instead, we emphasize the steps required to succeed—setting goals, working hard, tracking progress, and embracing the process. When we commit to these principles, the wins will follow.

This one means a little more.

The Colorado Sparkler tested us in every way possible this week. Pool play didn’t go the way we hoped, and finding ourselves in the loser’s bracket wasn’t the path we planned. But sometimes the hardest roads reveal the strongest teams.

These girls could have hung their heads. They could have let frustration take over. Instead, they chose grit. They chose to fight for each other.

Four straight bracket games. Four chances to go home. Four times this team refused to quit.

And in the end… we battled our way all the way back to the championship and brought home the win. 🏆

Every single girl on this team played a part in this championship. Whether it was making a big defensive play, getting a clutch hit, cheering louder than anyone in the dugout, or simply showing up ready to fight, every single one of them contributed. Championships aren’t won by one player—they’re won by a team. I hope each of these girls knows how important they are because every single one of them helped make this happen.

A special shoutout to our catcher, Hunter Taylor, who absolutely showed out on Championship Sunday. Two home runs, countless innings behind the plate after catching game after game, and she never stopped competing. Your toughness and leadership were incredible to watch.

Another huge shoutout goes to Dakoda Clark, who dug deep, battled through the pressure, and earned the Championship Sunday win in the circle. You left everything you had out there and were more than deserving of the game ball. We are so proud of you.

As coaches, we couldn’t be more proud of this entire group. Not just because they won a championship, but because of the resilience, selflessness, and love they showed for one another when things got hard. They never quit believing, and they never quit fighting.

To our parents, thank you for supporting these girls every step of the way. Your encouragement means more than you know.

Colorado Sparkler, you were one for the books. I can officially say we finished the season with a big BOOM🧨❤️
