Going through the suspension to make some new changes. Changed out the 7K axles to the 10K axles to again a little more droop. Changed out rubber bump stop to pure polyurethane bump stops. Also reviewing all valving, spaces and set points. Looking to do more testing this spring.

Made some recent changes in the front suspension. I removed the front OEM rubber a-arm bushings and replaced them with polyurethane bushings. So far really liking the results more testing to come.

Had some time to work on the bump stops today. After unfolding the one bump stop it showed little to no damage on it. I did shorten both bump stops by 1/2” for 2 reasons. My up travel was getting a little to limited and I thought having a shorter bump stop may help reduce the chance of folding again. Going to be testing again soon.

Test #10 made a few adjustments on this recent test. Changed out the Bilstein bump stops that come with the shock for RE Suspension one . Unfortunately looks like I pushed the bump stops a little too hard. In the truck they felt great and I had no idea the one folded in. Going to remove them tomorrow to see if I can still make them work. The other adjustment was I increased ride hight by a little bit because I was not riding at 40% droop.

On the last test run I noticed I was starting to have some bump stop issues. The bump stops where over compressing for my need and this was also starting to damage the bump stop. I have sourced new replacements from RE Suspension part number BR-ST22-65. These are stiffer and taller.
