Score keeping 🎉
During this Orange Ball Class one group of athletes couldn’t agree on the score. Instead of fighting, hurt feelings and frustrated kids - we utilize our oversized handy whiteboard. I encourage all of the kids to walk through the points and get to a place they all agree on. A student referee was assigned to write down each point. We rotated positions and had each student get the opportunity to be the ref. Yes, it takes a few extra minutes and yes it’s worth it! 🎾

Trevor Noah learning to play tennis 🎾 😆

Trevor Noah told Ellen a hilarious story about how he trained with intense tennis coaches to play with Rafael Nadal in a doubles match against Roger Federer and Bill Gates. "The Daily Show" host also commiserated with Ellen over both of them losing to Dave Chappelle in the Best Comedy Album category...

Monday funday 💕🎾 Running with intention 💪 Remember to identify your goals beforehand. Are you running for conditioning, cardiovascular effects, loose weight, to become faster or more explosive? Then look at your schedule, when is your next tournament or league match? Write out a calendar based on your schedule and goals (long term and short term). Running should never be used a punishment but instead a tool to help us achieve our goals💕

Week 3 ✅ The growth in our juniors over the last three weeks is truly mind blowing! I am so proud of all the little and bigs! Today our red ballers class (3-5 year olds) played an entire set!!!! We practiced score keeping with the help of our giant white board. Next week more games are coming and we will focus on consistency. Our older kiddos will be working on shot selection. Elite juniors will continue with footwork fun and net play. All weekly junior classes run six weeks, please confirm your kiddo is signed up for our next session.
