I can hardly make myself these items for the same price that Sarah offers them through SRS. If you're looking for a steal on quality items, this is my favorite hunting supply store. As a leatherworker, and foxhunter who is extremely hard on every piece of equipment, I can safely say the longevity of SRS goods is hard to beat!!

Nothing like summer heat to keep me in the shop.

Thank you Huntsman Barrett DuPree for pushing me to visit the lovely Bridlespur Hunt Club - finally made it down at the very last minute to attend their closing hunt. Impeccable hospitality, lots of comradery, and beautiful country.

So grateful I got to ride behind Barrett Dupree before the end of season - it was incredible to witness some very skilled houndwork while the pack went from chasing a coyote, to a bright red fox, and back to a coyote. Coyotes tend to run straight and through the path of least resistance, where foxes tend to circle and move through cover. Barrett was able to get the hounds back on the fox's curved scent line several times when the hounds were clearly used to their quarry following a different trajectory through familiar territory. It was truly a pleasure to watch a biddable pack get pushed to hunt outside of their norm and according to their Huntsman.

Festus is still not quite a finished videography horse, but we did our best to capture a few moments from the day.

**Please excuse the sniffles and mouth breathing, spring was out in full force and so were my allergies!**

PENDING Huge thanks to Reghan McNaul for helping me get back in the show ring with an incredible prospect owned by Kay Suddeth (It's A Pleasure, Geneseo, IL). "Jericho" (Hot Like Batman) showed incredibly for me at his first outing despite only having about 15 rides together. This c**t handled his first show like an old pro, utterly unphased by the warm-up ring and show environment. Fortunately for us all, Jericho needed little help from me (except the occasional reminder that not every horse wanted to say hi) to go on and have a very successful weekend. Owner's health is forcing her to re-home Jericho, who has a bright future in the show ring, on the trail, or whatever else you want to throw at him.

2022 solid bay ApHC gelding, about 15.1hh (TELL ME IM HOT x BATT CHIP CRAZY x BATT MAN). Quiet, well-started, takes a joke. More whoa than go but not a deadhead. Could be very competitive with a pro but is uncomplicated enough for a youth or amateur to finish out/maintain at home. Due to his age and intelligence, not recommended for a child or first-time owner unless under the guidance of a trainer at this time. Will be the baby sitter type with a few more years on him.
