Then, many years later, our son Peter was born. He awoke the sleeping artist in me. Thus, For Pete's Sake, was born. For 16 years I have been painting anything and everythin

Today my dear friend Mary Lea Howard hosted a wonderful gathering to celebrate Lydia Menzies and The Supper Club and .
Friends and family around the world were invited to host their own gatherings and celebrate together. Take a moment to follow the hashtag—you’ll find beautiful tables, joyful moments, and wonderful friendships being shared from all over.
A huge thank you to Lydia for inspiring this special day, and to Mary Lea and Mary Beth for hosting such a lovely afternoon at mahjongstudio1.
We enjoyed delicious food, wonderful friends (both new and old), and plenty of mahjong! It was my very first time playing...and somehow I won twice! 🏆🏆
Mary Lea thought of every detail, from fabulous decorations and custom cookies to thoughtful prizes that made the day even more memorable.
The perfect finishing touch? We each received a copy of Lydia’s second edition of The Supper Club magazine. It was truly a beautiful day filled with friendship, laughter, and celebration. 💙

I'm in love again. 💙

After a few sleepless nights recently, I found myself immersed in a vintage plate study. The first piece in this collection is my Blue Danube Estate Platter.

Blue Danube was a beloved porcelain line from Japan, originally inspired by the classic Blue Onion motifs rooted in the ancient Chinese Yuan and Qing dynasties. Timeless blue-and-white patterns have always captured my heart, and this piece is my own interpretation of that enduring tradition.

I’m so excited to share it with you. What do you think?

💙✨
