Lions Baseball has a new and exciting opportunity for students this winter break! We are hosting a camp at our indoor baseball facility at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church for all Pre-K through 8th graders interested in baseball/softball.
Camp dates are December 20, 21, 27, and 28 - times are as follows:
December 20 and 27:
Pre-K through 1st Grade = 3:45-4:30 PM
2nd Grade through 4th Grade = 4:30-5:30 PM
5th Grade through 8th Grade = 5:30-7:00 PM
December 21 and 28:
Pre-K through 1st Grade = 8:30-9:15 AM
2nd Grade through 4th Grade = 9:15-10:15 AM
5th Grade through 8th Grade = 10:15-11:45 AM

Camp is open to everyone (Unity students and students from other school). Please use the QR code on the flyer to sign up on Google Forms. It is a great way to learn about the sport, develop and prepare for the 2025 seasons, and to see and experience the opportunities we have built and been blessed with as the Lions Baseball Program!

The Lions Baseball program celebrates another successful season in our program! We had two players nominated for the LPC All Conference teams. Haiden Stocks was selected to First Team All-Conference. Will Marley was selected for All-Conference Honorable Mention. A great achievement for both players! One is ending his career and moving on to college baseball. The other is just beginning his career in high school. We are excited for what is ahead for both players!

Today’s game against Arthur Christian has been moved to the Lions Baseball Field. Game starts at 4:30.

It is Senior Night! Join us as we celebrate the 2024 senior baseball players. The field has been prepared by a few coaches and players - check out the senior numbers on the field today!

The Lions Baseball game today has been canceled due to cold weather.

We hope to see everyone at the Lions Baseball Field tomorrow for our first varsity home game of the season. Game starts at 4:30.

Support the Lions baseball team this spring by purchasing a discount card from the team! Cards cost $20 (cash or check made out to LSA Baseball). You can talk to one of our players or coaches to purchase a card. You can also send us a message and connect with us to get your card. Great deals around the area! Proceeds support the Unity Christian baseball program.

Lions Baseball is back again with our 2023 Futures Camp!!! All 1st through 5th grade students (boys and girls) interested in baseball and learning from our Lions Baseball Program should sign up and attend camp. We have a fun-filled 5 days of learning and growing on the Lions Baseball Field. Campers will need a glove but should bring any other equipment they have. Sign up by Sunday, September 10 and you will receive a camp t-shirt!!! Shirts are included in the camp cost.

The Lions Baseball team is celebrating having two more all-conference players this year. At the Lincoln Prairie baseball all-conference meeting, Haiden Stocks was voted unanimously to the 1st team. Emmanuel Roughton was voted to the 2nd team. It is something special when our battery gets recognized for being great. Both players had impressive seasons for our team, and these are well-deserved honors. They have worked for this achievement. We thank them for not only tremendous on-the-field achievements but the exceptional off-the-field examples these men are for our program and community.

The Lions Baseball game at Arcola has been rescheduled for tomorrow at 5:30 PM. We will be watching our teammate Connor Creviston sign his letter of intent to play football at Monmouth College at 3:30 PM, and then we will head to Arcola for the game.

Today’s game at Arcola has been canceled. We are working on a date to reschedule the game. We will practice at SPL after school.

On Tuesday, we celebrated our 2023 senior baseball players and managers as we played a home game at our field. We have welcomed two players to the team this year, welcomed two managers that have helped us with off-the-field needs, and celebrated one player who has grown with us for four years. We are very thankful that each of them joined our team this season. They were given gifts to remember this year and more gifts are in the works. Thank you to Emmanuel, Jordan, Connor, Abbey, and Torrie for being a part of the Lions Baseball Program!

Today’s baseball game against Blue Ridge has been canceled. We have rescheduled the game for Wednesday, April 19th. We will practice inside today until 5:30.
