Navy Men's Basketball Team loses a heartbreaker 72-73 to Boston University at Alumni Hall in the Patriot League Tournament Semifinals. Mids ends the season with a 19-2 record in the conference and 26-7 overall. Not sure if the Committee will take into account their regular season dominance and buzzer-beater loss and put them in as an at-large bid. If not, they had a phenomenal season.

Dice's Halftime Speech: Liberty Bowl time sportsfans! And it's a wet one out there with heavy running games on both sides, accordingly. 14-7 Navy at the half, with a rushing TD by Horvath and a receiving TD by Hutchison. We need to stay in front of the turnover battle, protect the ball (we did miss one pitch there late in the 2nd), continue to run our offense cleverly, and keep the defense shored up and hitting hard. Make the tackles in this wet weather and keep our heads in this game. Horvath, Tecza, and Heidenreich are doing their thing the same they have been all season. The conditions are sloppy, but our play cannot be. Cincinnati is playing a bit dirty, and even had a targeting call. Stay classy Navy, play our game, and we'll leave here with 11 wins . . . Dice sends.

Dice's Halftime Speech: while I'd love to simply "BEAT ARMY" this speech, we have some work to do. Protect the ball on offense, control the clock, and force turnovers on defense. Army came to play, and we've been running our faces off instead of mixing it up. I was very surprised at the shotgun formations that dominated our first drive, but it worked. Let's mix it up . . . To quote JPJ, "Those who will not risk, cannot win." Leave it all on the field gents and BEAT ARMY!!!!
