Representing Team USA, Martha Miltko is ready to hit the platform in November.

Fun fact, bench used to be her favorite lift, now, deadlift has her heart and she can hit 3x her body weight.

If you’ve ever thought about trying powerlifting, this is your sign.

You don’t have to already be strong. You don’t have to look a certain way. You don’t need years of experience.

You just have to start. Some of these women came to powerlifting for competition. Some came to get stronger. Some found a whole new version of themselves along the way.

The Olympia was another reminder of just how much women’s powerlifting continues to grow.

Barry Chapman is a good reminder that there’s no expiration date on getting stronger. Train smart. Eat well. Get some sleep. Keep showing up.

Powerlifting isn’t only about chasing records. For a lot of people, it becomes a reason to stay active, stay competitive and keep pushing themselves for years longer than they ever expected.

Barry is still on the platform doing exactly that.

That’s one of the best things about this sport.

Jason Smith , the gym became more than a place to train.

After being injured overseas, he found peace, focus and a new challenge through strength training. Eventually, that path led him to powerlifting and to the platform with us at the Mr. Olympia LLC

His message is pretty simple: give the sport a chance.

You don’t have to know how strong you can become before you start. Sometimes you just have to walk into the gym, find your reason, and see where it takes you.

We’re proud to have Jason as part of the USPA community.

For more than 17 years, USPA and International Powerlifting League (IPL) have been part of the Mr. Olympia LLC weekend alongside Inzer Advance Designs

Year after year, this has been one of those weekends that reminds us how big the strength community really is. Lifters, fans, brands, legends of the sport, and people discovering powerlifting for the first time, all under one roof.

One of the things we love most about powerlifting is that there really isn’t an expiration date on getting stronger. She found the sport in her 60s and says she feels better than ever.

And if you’re thinking about starting, her advice is pretty simple: start with the deadlift. 😂

Team USA is starting to come together.

We put a lot into making sure the athletes representing the United States at Worlds feel like they’re part of something special, all the way down to what they wear on the platform.

There are lifts that get your attention. And then there are lifts you remember.
