Chikara Pro The fun-filled lucha super party! http://www.chikarapro.com We like cheesy jokes and even cheesier nacho plates.

CHIKARA Pro is an independently owned and operated wrestling promotion that runs shows from February to November of each year, primarily in the eastern half of Pennsylvania, but occasionally in far off and exotic places like Germany, Japan, and Wall, PA. We love, and enjoy performing, various styles of grappling from around the world, especially the style of Mexican Lucha Libre. But we also love the Japanese strong style and the British Lancashire style as well, and we do our best to blend them together into a style distinctly our own. We like things that happened while we were in high school that people have all but forgotten. If they made the smell of BenGay into a fragrance for men, we'd totally wear it. We're just like you, but we're different, and that's why you love us. CHIKARA Pro is a true alternative to all the wrestling you've seen before, and all the wrestling you'll see ever again!

We are saddened by the loss of our friend and brother-in-arms, “Love Bug” Bob Butz. Love Bug was part of our story even before we opened on Linden Street in Allentown. Without his tireless efforts, we would have never been ready to meet the world on May 25, 2002.

Known to all as a charismatic and versatile in-ring performer, behind the scenes, Love Bug was also a steadfast and supportive friend. He always found a way to keep us laughing through good times and bad, and he relentlessly gave back to the art form he loved, passing along his experience and insight freely.

Anyone who shared a locker room with Love Bug is better for having spent even a minute with him, and all should know that our beloved brother has left us far too soon. Our deepest felt and most sincere condolences to the friends and family of Bob Butz, wherever they may be.

We love you, brother.

We'll never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever forget you, brother.

You're with us everyday, but today most of all. We love you and we miss you - ain't no doubt about it.
