On this absolutely idyllic day in New York, I had the honor of presiding over a Celebration of Life only 2 weeks after the passing of an incredible woman I had never before met. I was brought into this inspiring group of Grievers by a long term yoga student. It was a stunning day to honor Grief, Beauty, & Love. I Am Here for These Powerful Moments. Thank you for trusting me. May your grief journey be ever supported so you may deepen into love.

Community Day at Legacy Park! Met a ton of amazing folks doing incredible work in Decatur and talked a ton about Grief House offerings. Saw my Compassionate Atlanta and Serenity Healing .healing.artsatl buddies, stocked up on plants from Trellis and ate some delicious food from the Refuge Women’s Network .
The surprise highlight was discovering BBuckets , a mosquito dunk system. I decorated my own buckets and I can’t wait to annihilate a ton of mosquito larvae!
The businesses over at Legacy Park are something really special. I’m glad to be a part of it. 🙏🏽

Getting ready to lead some Run Where You Are Conference attendees in a gentle Yoga Nidra practice. I’m excited to be supporting these folks who are wanting to lead change in our communities. I imagine it’s exhausting work. It feels aligned to support them in this way.

CDC Release & Grounding
Thu, Apr 24 | Zoom
Fellow CDC employees have reached out to the Grief House to hold space for CDC staff, HHS staff, and others in the federal family who’ve been impacted by these uncertain and turbulent times working within the US government.
We are honored to do so.
We invite all individuals impacted by the recent disruptions at the CDC and federal level to join us. This is a pay only if you can offering. During the session, you can expect some movement, breath work, song, journaling, sharing & witnessing and gentle nervous system support.
We hope you can come and let us hold space for you to express what needs to be expressed, listen and know you are not alone, and receive some support during this moment.
Sascha, co founder of the Grief House, Shonali Banerjee of Wise Ma Wellness and Kate Drummond of The Energetic Heart will be facilitating this offering. Reach out at [email protected] with any questions.

Gloriously outside at sunset for Yoga While Grieving at The Grief House tonight. Looking up at bare branches just starting to bud, winds blowing between our toes, bird sounds mingling with the footfalls of runners, tiny purple violets all around our yoga mats. It’s an auspicious & potent way to be with our grieving selves.
Next 4 week series Yoga While Grieving runs April 15 - May 6 | 7 - 7:50pm at The Grief House. Registration is open.

Y’all! Sascha and I just got done with an interview about The Grief House with Rose Scott from WABE!! I was very unsuccessful at not fan-girling. The piece will air on Friday 3/28 at Noon. I am really proud to be a part of this burgeoning community in Atlanta.
Sascha, thank you for daring to step into your calling, for opening the Grief House, for creating this space for people to be with their grief, where all grief is welcome.
Stay tuned! I’ll definitely be sharing more details.
And if, in the meantime time, you’re curious, come out Tuesday nights (tonight!) 7pm for Yoga While Grieving and 8pm Circle of Song: Living While Grieving or visit the Grief House website.

It’s hard to believe that the final Chantlanta Sacred Music Festival is upon us, this weekend, March 14 & 15 at Unity North Church. The Goddess Choir performs at 5pm on Saturday, 3/15. I will also be on the main stage for the grande finale at 8pm with Chantlanta founder Ian Boccio, Gershone and The Spirit Messengers. We will be celebrating 13 years of dedicated service through sacred music. Come join us!!
I have made offerings every year except the first. Chantlanta has absolutely shaped my life here in Atlanta. I am so grateful to the Chantlanta crew who’ve worked their butts off to bring the generous spirit of this festival to our fair city. I stand up to applaud them. to name just a few.
The Goddess Choir was created for Chantlanta in 2020, and do we have a spectacular set of music to present to you this year! We are honored to be performing alongside an incredible variety of sound healing artists all harnessing the power of sacred sound.
The Goddess Choir shares songs meant to be sung in community where the interweaving of parts and harmonies has the potential to break wide open our hearts, to soothe our collective souls, to acknowledge deep truths and longings for connection, freedom, forgiveness, empowerment, joy, & the divine. Through song we nourish ourselves to face the world and all of its complexities. Come sing your heart out with us.
All proceeds of the festival go to chosen charity partner, Kaleidoscope Child Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization that builds schools and other critical infrastructure in some of the most poverty-stricken areas of the world. David Ault and his team have dedicated themselves to this important work for the past 20 years.
Festival passes need to be purchased in advance. Pricing is so generous. Workshops will sell out. Please come celebrate with us! Go to https://www.chantlanta.org/
