The dip battle saga continues

Body weight: 200.8 lb
Dip belt load: 90 lb
Repetitions: 7

Weighted Dip
90x7

I'm stuck at 7 reps for 90 pounds, so next week we will increase load and see if I can get 7 reps.

This was the fix when I was dipping with lighter loads. I wasn't surpassing a repetition mark but then I increased load and progression resumed.

Rep and load progressions are my favorite forms of progression, but I prefer weight (load) progressions over the long run, ESPECIALLY when natural. So we will do exactly that next week.

And... oh look!I I discuss exactly that very thing in my latest peer-reviewed paper below.

For nearly two decades, I’ve helped people transform their bodies through training, nutrition, consistenc, and accountability.

Different ages. Different starting points. Different goals.

But one thing every transformation you see here has in common:

They were achieved naturally.

No drugs. No shortcuts. Just doing things the right way, consistently, over time.

STOP relying on GLP-1 drugs to do the work for you.

You wanna actually boost your metabolism and build a better body? Then do it the right way, without destroying your muscle, tanking your energy, and becoming dependent on some overpriced injection.

I call GLP-1s the Gains Loss Program. You lose your muscle gainzzz on it and you don’t want that.

Here’s how you fix your metabolism naturally:

🔥 Build muscle—lots of it

Muscle is the key to a faster metabolism. The more you have, the more calories you burn 24/7. GLP-1 drugs don’t help you build muscle, they help you lose it. Remember it stands for the Gains Loss Program.

You know what happens when you lose muscle? Your metabolism slows more. Lift heavy, train 3-4x a week, and stop running from the weights.

🔥 Eat protein like it’s your job

Protein has the highest thermic effect, meaning your body burns calories just by digesting it. Meanwhile, GLP-1 drugs kill your appetite so much that people barely eat enough to function, let alone build muscle.

You wanna stay lean long-term? Hit your target weight in grams. If you want to weigh 130 pounds then hit 130 grams a day.

🔥 Stop starving yourself

Again, GLP-1 drugs trick you into eating like a toddler, and guess what? That wrecks your metabolism. Starving yourself now means struggling with fat gain later. Eat in a sustainable deficit. One that fuels your body, preserves muscle and keeps your metabolism firing.

These drugs aren’t a solution, they’re a shortcut that leaves you worse off in the end. Stop looking for the easy way out and start doing what actually works 💪🔥
