🔥 **WEEK 9 OF ROCKIN L RANCH’S MEET THE HORSES!** 🐴

**WARNING: FIRE IS A PROFESSIONAL TROUBLEMAKER!**

Meet Fire! The goofy guy who keeps us laughing, shaking our heads, and wondering WHAT ON EARTH he’s got in his mouth now!

**A few things you should know about Fire:**
🐴 He’s our trusty guide horse!
😂 He’s got the personality of a class clown and the mischief to match!
📢 His chewing is LOUD enough to qualify as a public announcement!
💦 He slobbers more than any horse has a right to slobber!
🐶 And just like a Labrador Retriever, if it fits in his mouth, it BELONGS in his mouth! Toys, random objects, who knows what’s next?! 😂

We’re pretty sure Fire wakes up every morning and asks himself, *“What can I get into today, and how much can I annoy everyone while doing it?”* 🤣

He’s equal parts goofy, slobbery, mischievous, and lovable. You can try to keep a straight face around him, but good luck with that! Between the noise, the slobber, and his questionable life choices, **there is NEVER a dull moment when Fire is around!** ❤️

We wouldn’t have him any other way… well, maybe with a little less slobber!

🐴 **Week 8 of Meet the Horses: DELILAH!**

Look out, world! Here comes Delilah! ❤️

This sweet Mustang girl has already been busy! She’s been used for lessons and has even made her debut at D Bar D for Speed and Action! 🏇💨 Who says you can’t be sweet AND have a little speed?!

Delilah is as sweet as they come and always ready to learn something new. She’s got a whole lot of potential, a heart of gold, and we have a feeling this girl is just getting started!

🐴 **Meet the Horses – Week 7: Roma**

Meet Roma, our sweet Mustang mare!

Roma hasn’t hit the trails just yet, and she still has plenty to learn, but she truly is as nice as they come. She’s a girl who loves all the little things in life, especially scratches and nose kisses!

Every horse has their own journey, and Roma is still writing hers. We’re excited to see her grow, learn, and gain confidence as she takes her next steps toward the trails. 🐎

For now, she’s happy soaking up the love and reminding us that sometimes the sweetest souls just need a little extra time. ❤️

Please be patient with us over the next few days as we work to get everyone scheduled! Today was absolutely non-stop, and what a beautiful day it was. We had trail rides, lessons, and even a Girl Scout troop visit. 🙂

The phone was ringing off the hook, and we truly love seeing that kind of excitement and support! Unfortunately, the two of us who handle the phones were busy assisting clients throughout the day, so we weren't always able to answer calls right away.

We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we'll get back to everyone as quickly as possible! ❤️🐴

As we head into the beautiful fall season, we want to let everyone know that one of our staff members will be away on vacation beginning next weekend. With many guests eager to enjoy the fall colors, our availability will be more limited during the final weeks of the season.
To ensure you get your preferred date and time, please schedule your ride as early as possible. Our final ride of the season will depart on October 30th.
This weekend is completely booked, and next weekend is filling up quickly. Don't wait to reserve your spot if you'd like to experience the peak fall scenery before the season ends! 🍂🍁

🐴 Meet the Horses — Week 6! 🐴

Meet Oliver, but most people call him Ollie — because apparently “Oliver” is far too formal for someone with THIS much personality. 😂

Ollie is our spoiled, overly dramatic lesson horse. He works hard teaching his riders the ropes… and then makes sure everyone knows just how exhausting his job is. 😩

Is he asked to do something reasonable? The drama begins.
Is he asked to do something he doesn’t want to do? Even more drama.
Does someone walk by without giving him attention? Absolutely unacceptable. 😂

But underneath all that theatrics is a pretty great horse who loves his people and knows exactly how to charm his way into getting what he wants.

Most days you’ll find Ollie doing his lesson-horse duties, but every once in a while, he gets to trade the arena for the trails. Of course, Ollie considers this less of a “fun trail ride” and more of a well-earned vacation from his extremely demanding lifestyle. 😂

Spoiled? Yes.
Dramatic? Without question.
Loved? Absolutely. ❤️

Everyone needs an Ollie in their life… preferably one they can laugh at while he’s being dramatic. 🤣

🐴 Week 5 of Meet the Horses of Rockin L Ranch!

Meet Junior, aka Junie or June Bug! 💙

Junior is the definition of sophisticated, sleek, showy, and handsome. He knows he’s a looker—and he’s not shy about putting on a little show!

Junie absolutely loves trail rides and enjoys getting out and exploring. But there is ONE place you will rarely find him… behind Red! 😂

And honestly, we can’t blame him. Red has a bit of a farting issue on the trail, and Junie has apparently decided that being directly in the blast zone is simply beneath his standards. 💨🤣

So if you ever see Junie doing his best to get around Red, just know he’s not being difficult… he’s protecting his sophisticated image—and his nostrils! 🐴

Sleek. Handsome. Showy. Trail-loving. And apparently, very particular about his air quality.

❤️ That’s our June Bug!

We have a new member of our family ❤️ Everyone, meet Rowdy.

Yes, he’s thin, and yes, he has a leaking wound on his side — but he’s also incredibly sweet, endlessly curious, and hilariously picky about his food 🤣. We keep telling him he doesn’t exactly have the right to be picky in his condition, but like every lost soul who finds their way here, he’s found his voice… and we’re listening.

Rowdy has already received veterinary care and is gaining weight after just a week with us. Our hope is that, in time, he’ll grow strong enough to become both a lesson horse and a trail horse.

For now, he’ll be staying behind the barn where he can get the medical attention he needs. If you’re visiting, feel free to step out back and say hello.

We originally planned to bring home a horse ready to jump straight into our program — but our bleeding hearts and rescue experience made it impossible to leave Rowdy behind.

🐴💨 WEEK 4: MEET THE HORSES AT ROCKIN L RANCH!

Everyone, meet Red… aka Reeead! ❤️

Red is our resident old man, and just like any good old man, he has opinions, takes his sweet time, and apparently has a built-in exhaust system. 😂

Let’s just say… Red is a little gassy. Okay, maybe a LOT gassy. You never know when you’re going to get a little surprise from the back end! 💨💨

We’ve learned that when Red walks by, you don’t just watch where you’re stepping… you watch which way the wind is blowing!

But all jokes aside, we absolutely LOVE this old guy. ❤️ He does all our heavy jobs and is one of the hardest workers around the ranch.

And then there’s his saddle… Lord help us. That thing gives us our daily arm workout before we even know we signed up for one! 💪

Red may be our four-legged forklift, resident grandpa, and part-time biological weapon… but he is 100% Rockin L Ranch family. ❤️🐴💨

We wouldn’t trade him for anything… although we might occasionally trade places with whoever is standing upwind.
