Today we honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, a man of great faith and integrity! These words remind us that we are obligated to always do right, no matter the situation. He has left behind a legacy of what it means to live your life in the most honorable way, with high character & being a servant leader! There are not enough words, but to say thank you Dr. King!

Appreciation & announcement post...
We want to thank for all that she has done and meant to Whitworth Women's Basketball. It is with gratitude (and also a touch of sadness 🥺) that we announce that Jess Kramer is leaving us to take over the Head Coach responsibilities at the Community Colleges of Spokane. For everything that 2020 has brought us, we have to say we are proud of Jess. As hard as it is that she is leaving us, we are grateful that she poured her heart and soul in to this program, not only as a player, but as a coach. She has left her mark all across this Whitworth community, and it is most evident with her former teammates and in the young women she has had the opportunity to coach in this program. My goodness, we will miss her enthusiasm, optimism & overall authenticity!! We love you Jess and know that you will do great things at CCS. This is not a goodbye, but a see you on the court!

We’re excited to announce that will be joining our basketball family! ❤️🏀🖤

“I chose Whitworth to be closer to home with better weather on the other side of the mountains. I also loved the campus and basketball team/coaching staff as well as the opportunity to study kinesiology with a coaching minor.”
