Hey Yuma families! I need your input!

We may have some pretty big changes coming in the next six months, and I’m starting to plan what the next chapter of Arizona Mobile Swim could look like.

One possibility we’re exploring is offering year-round swim lessons in a heated pool here in Yuma! Don't worry, our mobile options aren't going anywhere.

But before we get too far into planning, I’d really love to hear from the families who would actually use it.

If you had access to year-round swim lessons, what would you want?

📍 Location: What part of Yuma would be most convenient? How far would you be willing to drive?

🏊‍♀️ Lesson options: Would you prefer weekly lessons, accelerated 3–5 day intensives, or occasional refresher lessons throughout the year?

📅 Scheduling: Weekday mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends?

💙 Anything else? Are there programs or services you wish were available in Yuma that you haven’t been able to find?

We've been teaching swim lessons in Yuma for almost a decade, and I’ve learned a lot about what works for families and what doesn’t. If we’re going to make some big changes, I want to make sure we’re building something that actually meets the needs of our community.

Nothing is decided yet, but your feedback will genuinely help me figure out what comes next!

Only 2 pop-up visits left in Yuma!

🧜‍♀️ Yuma friends! I’m opening a small number of Mobile Mermaid Pop-Ups in your backyard pool for June 6th ONLY.

The earliest time available is 12pm with limited times available through the evening.

Each visit is about 25 minutes and can be customized for your group:
✨ Mermaid swim games
✨ Mermaid-themed swim lessons
✨ Story time for little ones
✨ Water play & interaction
✨ Photos & magical memories

The best part? The mermaid sneaks in through the side gate, surprises the kids, hangs out in the pool with them, then disappears again like she was never even there. 🫧

Pricing:
• $249 for up to 5 children
• Additional children $25 each

Just a heads up: larger groups make the experience a little less personal for each child.

A few important notes:
• Parents must stay present and supervise at all times
• The mermaid is not a lifeguard or babysitter
• Pets need to be secured away from the pool area
• Payment is non-refundable and due to reserve your spot
• No time extensions available

Do you buy your child's clothing a size up to make them last longer? I do too - our kids grow out of things SO fast. But here's why I don't do that with my children's swimwear.

We have a brand new scheduling system this season! 🌊

This upgrade has honestly been a pretty major investment for our small business, but we’re really excited about what it allows us to do for families and instructors.

Our new system calculates actual travel time between lessons instead of using one generic buffer time for every appointment. That means instructors should be able to arrive on time even more consistently, spend less time zig-zagging across town, and we can serve MORE families overall instead of having huge gaps between lessons or inefficient routes.

One tradeoff is that our intake forms are much simpler than before, so we could really use your help in the notes section when booking. If possible, please include:
• Swimmer names
• Ages
• Any important details we should know

Thank you guys for growing with us while we continue improving behind the scenes. Watching this little business evolve from “me with a clipboard” into actual functioning systems has been such fun growth to watch.
