Great day at the RC Compound! My Tekno Buggy was good. And ended up TQing winning Nitro Buggy.
Truggy was very good all day. Qualified 3rd and 5 of us were very very close. Was gonna be a battle in the A main. But I had electrical issues start of main. So didnt run. Sucks. But things happen.
Thanks to everyone at the Compound for all there hard work and a great place to race.

Great night of racing at White Fox Speedway in Webster City. Was able to win 2 classes and 2nd in the other. Had some good battle with A couple guys. My GFRP cars are very good.

Went to the RC Compound for the first 1/8 club race of the year. It is an awesome facility. The crew there is making that place an absolute premier race track.
Ran Expert Nitro buggy. The Tekno NB48 2.2 worked good. Ended up 5th in the A main. Getting beat by the fast “kids”. But all good. They are young and talented.
Open Nitro Truggy I had a very good day. Ended up TQing the first 2 rounds. And putting in one very consistent 2nd round.
So didn’t run 3rd round to take a break and save tires. The A main started and I got out to a good start. Really only lost lead for a lap after the fuel stop. Got it back and just tried to drive smart and clean. Taking the win was a great feeling. My Tekno NT48 2.2 was amazing all day.

Tekno 1/8 Winter Series rapped up in March. Was a pretty good series. Made the A in every round with nitro truggy. Ended up finishing 8th in points.
Expert Nitro buggy was a decent series. Ended up 11th in points. That is a very stacked field of drivers every race day. My Tekno cars are awesome and cant ask for much more with them.

A few months ago I started racing Kyosho Mini zs. And then got into the 1/28 scale purpose built lipo 2500 and 3500 brushless cars. Have had some success recently running these cars. It is some of the hardest and most intense fast paced racing I’ve ever done. Ive been racing at Wolfram in Des Moines. Its a blast.

Havnt posted on here lately. But have recently got into 1/28 scale Mini Z racing. Been practicing at Buscher Bros Rc “The Summit” on there RCP track. And have went down to Wolfram RC in Des Moines a couple times. Last night was 2nd race there and first night with the Reflex RX28 Gen 3 in Lipo 3500. I took the win and man that class is fun and intense. In NIMH Sportsman I took the win as well. That car is a slightly modified MR-04. Its been a fast car.
This is a new and challenging part of rc racing I am really enjoying.

Finally had a chance to meet up with Mike Henely to get my awards from this last summer racing at White Fox RC. Had a fabulous year winning 13.5 Sprint car and 13.5 Late Model points Championship. And winning many features in both classes. Cant wait to race again next year. One of the best and most friendly places I’ve ever raced at.

Great night at White Fox Speedway last night. Won all 3 classes which isn’t easy The competition has greatly improved all summer. But the GFRP cars have been on point most of the year.
Mike sure gets the track very smooth and consistent every race night all summer. He puts in the work and is an awesome promoter. Live rc has sure made things better for us racers last couple races. If you havnt checked out the track you really should. One of the best tracks in Iowa and the midwest. I see it just getting better and better.

Best place in Algona to get rc cars and parts. Friendly people to deal with.

Awesome time at White Fox Speedway Sat night. Took the win in both 13.5 classes Im really starting to fig out the GFRP cars. Theres a reason they win a lot of races. Easiest cars I’ve ever driven on outdoor tracks.
Thanks to Mike Henley for the really nice facility he is making better and it’s continuing to grow. 90 plus entries is impressive.
If you havnt been to this track. You need to give it s try. The track has awesome grip and is smooth once it comes in. Does not wear tires.
