Good morning, and Happy Halloween!

Finished up the initial six-weeks of post-procedure training today. Next week begins a fifteen-week training regimen designed to get me back to (and, hopefully, beyond) my pre-procedure numbers in the three lifts.

Here's two pics comparing my body composition from shortly after the Born Again procedure (left) to today (right). Strength, stamina, and body weight are well on their way to getting back where they were before my diagnosis.

Good morning, and Happy Friday!

Please keep our dear friend Donna in your thoughts and prayers. Donna was recently told by her local hematologist that her current treatment was not producing the desired outcome and encouraged her to seek a second opinion for treatment options. She is meeting today with doctors from the Moffitt Center to determine next steps to treat her leukemia.

Donna is a wonderful lady with a strong faith. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, and I’ll update you when I hear back from her. Thanks so much!

Saw this post on “Echoes of the Past” and it reminded me of my friend and brother, Dean. Dean is a patriot, combat veteran, and true American hero.

Happy Birthday, Gidget -
Our little girl turned eight yesterday!

Here she is rocking and rolling at her table at Cheers (left) and in one of her favorite hiding places under the bench at the gym.

Great news today from my urologist, Dr. Kelly. PSA went down from my previous test before the "Born Again" procedure, so no further treatment needed until my next round of bloodwork in six months. Praise God!

Good morning, and Happy Friday!

Saw this post on “Echoes of the Past” and it reminded me of our friend and brother, Troy Dalton. Troy used to stop by our house for a visit, sitting on the porch and just having fellowship.

Troy went to be with the Lord just before we had to move back to Florida. His visits are some of my fondest memories of our time living out in the country.

Good morning!

Yesterday’s appointment in Orlando went well, thank God! Dr. Patel gave me the green light to start rehearsing with the guys – so stoked! Should be completely off “house arrest” no later than early December.

Bench hit triple digits today. After next week the weights will start building at a much faster pace. And this morning’s ride was brisk – had to wear “Florida, cold weather gear.” That’s shorts and a tee-shirt for those up north!

Good morning!

John and Emma are big Renaissance fans, and the festival was this weekend up in Maryland. The kids are too cute in their Renaissance garb!

Heading to Orlando later this morning for bloodwork and to meet with Dr. Patel and Mackenzie. Hoping to get cleared to rehearse with the guys – going stir crazy!
