Phase 1 - Total body ‘Reset’ where we decompress your joints and release muscular tension for a postural reset which calms your nervous system as much as possible to give your body a chance to heal. I was a Bodywork Therapist and Performance Trainer at the same time for much of my career. That’s why people liked working with me. Instead of having to go to all these different places, they could save time, money and energy and get everything they needed in one. Plus I was able to customize a plan that included (fitness, nutrition and bodywork therapy) with knowledge and experience that many other trainers or therapists didn't have.

BTW if your chiro spends less than 30 mins with you - you need to fire them. Most times it’s 10 mins - crack crack crack - see you next week and they just want to keep you coming back. Your body will always snap, crackle and pop but they never get to the underlying issues.

You could keep going to your trainer and they may help you with your fitness and nutrition, but they don’t help with alignment, dysfunctions, mobility restrictions

When she joined us, she had slouching posture, rounded shoulders and forward head posture which led to shoulder and neck pain.

She was avoiding movement to avoid pain and had no idea how to adjust her nutrition - so she gained a bunch of fat which just added stress to her joints and made her uncomfortable in her own body

Here’s how my Pain2Performance program was able to get her out of pain and back in shape

The first phase of my program - Reset - takes you through a total structural and neurological reset. It's a low intensity movement phase that focuses on full body joint decompression and reintroduces mobility and functionality to release all tension and get everything working correctly. It also took a bunch of stress off her nervous system, so it could better regulate her hormones and burn more fat

She was a tutor and teacher so I gave her my mobility routine specifically for people who sit too much to completely reverse the damage of sitting too long which opened up her hips and chest area

Unfortunately sitting is an epidemic so I’ve become pretty familiar with helping people who sit too much

Next phase is - Realignment - which is where we increase our focus on postural alignment and muscle functionality to hold it. This was where we really focused more on her pelvis and spine alignment to correct her rounded shoulders and forward head posture

Next we - Reinforce - alignment with correct movement patterns to maximize movement efficiency and completely eliminate compensations. This is when we were able to double down on her fitness and increase intensity

The final two phases are Rebuild and Realize which is where we were able to build on top of everything we accomplished so that she could realize her ultimate goal

At the same exact time - in one customized program - she completely realigned her posture, eliminated her pain, burned 26 lbs. of fat and built 4 lbs. of muscle, slimmed her waist and built her glutes, legs and shoulders

She didn’t need physical therapy ❌
She didn’t need chiropractic ❌
She didn’t need acupuncture ❌

Sophia is a busy working mom was struggling with 15 lbs. and some back pain until we set her up with this…( #2 may shock you)

#1 Completely eliminating her back pain

She had a minor postural misalignment from always being in heels which put a ton of unnecessary stress on her nervous and endocrine (hormone) systems, and kept them in panic mode

When your body is in panic mode - it wants to hold onto all the resources it has. Fat is stored energy (resource)

Her misalignments also led to some dysfunctions and compensations which weakened her glutes and deep core

A lot of people want change but TORTURE themselves going through it because they cant stand the minor inconvenience of change

They focus on how they don’t want to do the right things that will get them the outcome they want

Focusing on how it will feel when you accomplish your goal gets you through those moments

So I taught her how to stay forward focused which keeps her on track. Now she’s lost 4 lbs. In one week - the week of Thanksgiving!!
