🏕️🌲 We at Colorado Camping & Adventures love camping, but we also love checking out other unique outdoor places to stay around Colorado!

When the aspen leaves cover the ground and the snow starts to fall, there's nothing better than finding a cozy camping cabin to enjoy the outdoors in a different way. 🍂❄️

Our next adventure is taking us to Tin Can Camp in the San Luis Valley, and we're excited to check out their mini cabins!

Many counties are now entering stage 2 fire restrictions this week due to dry weather! Here is some information from Grand County to help understand what isn't allowed. This will be similar throughout Western Colorado currently.

𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝟮 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟲.

If you're headed to Grand Lake, Colorado this summer, here's what that means for your trip:
🔥 No campfires, charcoal grills, or stove fires - at campgrounds or private residences
✅ Propane fire pits that can be turned OFF are still permitted
🎆 No personal fireworks, exploding or tracer am******on, exploding targets, or incendiary devices of any kind
🚭 No smoking except inside an enclosed vehicle or building, or within a cleared three-foot area down to mineral soil
And if you're going to smoke, don't even think about throwing it out the window. EVER.

- plan ahead, pack your propane, and help us keep Grand Lake the place worth coming back to.
