Discover Disc Golf

Are you interested in trying a new outdoor recreational sport? Have you considered disc golf?

If you want to learn more, join us on Saturday, November 30th, at Floral Park from 9 AM to 11 AM.

Disc golf is not only a competitive sport; it also promotes health and fitness. Playing disc golf helps build endurance through a combination of cardiovascular exercise, muscle engagement, and mental focus.

We will be joined by seasoned and top-ranked players who will provide an overview of the basic fundamentals, followed by an introductory session on disc golf. We will conclude with a friendly competitive game.

Please bring plenty of water and wear comfortable clothing. There are areas on the course that are in full sun, so wearing a hat is suggested. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the event.

You can register online at https://anc.apm.activecommunities.com/citruscountyparks/activity/search?onlineSiteId=0&activity_select_param=2&viewMode=list or RSVP by calling the Parks and Recreation Administration office at 352-527-7540.
