Choosing the right contractor is about more than price. It’s about experience, accountability, and the relationships they’ve built throughout the industry.
On a recent project, we discovered that an ADA element was slightly out of tolerance. It may have seemed like a small discrepancy, but missing the scheduled opening could have cost our customer approximately $100,000.
Because of our experience and established relationship with the inspector, we communicated the issue quickly and secured a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy—keeping the grand opening on schedule.
But at STMCO Construction, “temporary” isn’t our standard.
Our team is returning on Saturday to remove and repour the affected concrete. By Sunday, it will be fully ADA-compliant, and we’ll be completely off the jobsite before the doors open.
That’s why contractor selection matters.
The right contractor doesn’t just build the project. They take ownership, protect your investment, solve problems, and do whatever it takes to get the job across the finish line.
Grand opening: on schedule.

Victorville, get ready—you’re about to get buzzed! ☕️🐝
Better Buzz Coffee Victorville celebrates its grand opening this Tuesday after an incredible 10-week build!
In just eight weeks, our team completed the entire exterior scope—including full landscaping, ADA improvements, the trash enclosure, and the parking lot. The schedule was crazy, but our field team, office team, and subcontractors stepped up and made it happen. Our subs truly are the best!
Behind the scenes, the attention to detail extended down to every single piece of paperwork. We emailed the City, reached out to people on LinkedIn, followed every lead, and did whatever it took to cross the finish line.
Our team was relentless—and the TCO came through on Friday! ✅
I couldn’t be prouder of everyone who brought this project to life. Ten weeks, countless challenges, one incredible team.

Our first cryotherapy chamber is officially complete!
Building wellness centers means bringing specialized spaces and innovative equipment to life—and our team approached Cryo Chamber #1 as if it were Cryo Chamber #100.

That doesn’t happen by accident. It takes an incredible team, great trade partners, constant communication, and a shared commitment to getting the job done right.

Could not be more proud of this project! 2 weeks ahead of our 13 week schedule. Full interior and exterior tenant improvement. From an 30 year old Carl’s Jr to a new Better Buzz Coffee. Couldn’t do it without of incredible team and sub contractors!
