There are moments in life that remind us that sports and competition are about so much more than wins and losses. They are about family, community, and the relationships that bind us together.

This week, our community and Hawk’s family suffered a heartbreaking loss with the passing of Bex Hiler.

For many years, the Hiler family has been a valued part of our Hawks organization. Through countless practices, games, events, and memories, they have shared and contributed in what makes this organization special.

Bex was a bright light whose kindness, spirit, and love for others touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. While words can never fully capture the impact she made, her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who shared life with her.

As a Hawks family, we mourn alongside the Hilers and lift them up in prayer, love, and support during this unimaginable time.

We encourage our community to take a moment today to hug your children a little tighter, tell your loved ones how much they mean to you, and cherish the moments we are given.

Bex’s legacy will live on through the lives she touched, the friendships she created, and the community that will never forget her.

To the Hiler family: Thank you for being part of our Hawks family. We stand with you today, tomorrow, and always.

Forever a Hawk. Forever in our hearts.
