Day 2 at SBC Summit Lisbon brought another full day of conversations with operators about how they can make more of the live betting experience.

A lot of those discussions came back to the same challenge: giving bettors more reasons to stay engaged, whether that means surfacing relevant markets and content faster or bringing live video, data and insight together in one place.

Thanks to everyone who spent time with the Stats Perform team today.

There’s one day left at SBC. 🗓 If you’re in Lisbon, come and find us in Hall 3, Stand C335.

It’s been a busy first day at SBC Summit Lisbon, with plenty of great meetings and conversations at the Stats Perform stand.

Stats Perform’s Director of Women’s Sports Strategy, Louise Beltrame-Bawden, spoke about why the women’s football betting opportunity is already here. One of the biggest barriers is not appetite, but knowledge, and better data, context and live experiences can help operators build engagement today.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by to meet the team and see more of Content Player Pro, Bet LiveStreams, AI Studio and our FIBA Women’s World Cup data and insights.

We’ll be back tomorrow in Hall 3, Stand C335. Come by, meet the team and see what we’re showcasing.

Some of the most valuable questions in sport are still the hardest to answer.

Last week at Big Data LDN, Stats Perform Chief Scientist Patrick Lucey explored how deep sports data and new reasoning models can help quantify things that have traditionally been difficult to measure, from the value of a run in behind to how a team unlocks a low block and what a player could have done differently.

The opportunity goes beyond getting answers faster. It is about giving AI enough context to reason about the game properly, using up-to-date data, an objective language for sport and outputs that can be verified.

That could change how fans and professionals understand, explore and create around sport, and offers a strong indication of where sports AI is heading.
