It's time for a Wave Maker Wednesday post, meet Liz! She has been with goldfish longer than most employees currently working here. Her knowledge about all things pool shows in her lesson quality. She works extremely well with all kids that enter her lane and she knows how to manipulate things to help benefit each swimmer she sees. Her kids love her, her parents love her, and WE love her! SHOUT OUT TO LIZ! Thank you for all that you do

📚Swim lessons aren't just for the pool

Swimming builds confidence, focus, and persistence. These skills carry over into the classroom and everyday life. Kids who practice regularly in the pool often find it easier to tackle challenges, follow routines, and feel proud of their accomplishments.

As summer winds down, keep swim lessons part of your back-to-school routine. It is one more way to set kids up for success in the pool and in school.😊

We wanted to shout out BRADLEY on this lovely Star Student Sunday, he has been with Goldfish UA since the grand opening of our school and his progress has been amazing! He started out as a Glider 2 and is now on Swim Force. He continues to crush it at the competitive level. He is a great example in swim force as well and the coaches love having him in their lane!

🌟Not all swim milestones are what you think

Sure, floating and kicking are obvious, but did you know mastering gliding or holding breath underwater are huge confidence boosters too Even just completing that first swim lesson is an amazing moment!

Each small achievement adds up to big wins in the pool and gives kids a sense of independence in the water.

At Goldfish Swim School, we celebrate every milestone, from first float to first glide to swimming across the pool. Tracking progress turns practice into pride and helps kids love the water safely.

⚠️Parents, we know you're juggling a million things, but water time isn't one to multitask.

So consider this our friendly reminder that active supervision should be a must anytime kids are in or near the water.

🔸Stay close, within arm's reach
🔸 Put phones down (things can happen in seconds)
🔸 Make sure everyone knows the pool rules
🔸 Assign a designated Water Watcher (having a lot of adults around doesn't necessarily mean that someone is actively watching)

Even kids who know how to swim need your eyes on them. Combine lessons with attentive supervision and you've got a recipe for fun and safety. 🧡

🤔Ever notice how sometimes your kid nails a skill
one week and forgets it the next? That's why consistency matters.

Regular swim lessons aren't just about practicing moves; they help kids feel confident and in control in the water. Each weekly lesson builds on the one before and this adds up to big progress over time.

At Goldfish Swim School, our approach turns practice into confidence.
Keep your swimmer consistent and watch them go from "I'll try it" to "I've got this!"

Why do we teach kids to glide? Because it's the foundation for safe, confident, and efficient swimming!

Gliding helps kids:
✅ Master body position and balance
✅ Build confidence and control in the water
✅ Practice calm, intentional movements for safety
✅ Improve breath control and focus

At Goldfish Swim School, we start introducing gliding in Mini 2 lessons and continue refining it as kids progress, helping them glide smoothly on both their front and back. This skill sets the stage for stronger, safer swimming for life! 🐠
