Day 3 — Final Day of the USAT East American Open

We wrapped up the tournament with Giovanni and Jayden competing in Cadet Sparring.

Giovanni had a very tough start, getting sick from nerves right after stepping onto the ring. But he quickly recovered, fought through it, won his first match, and advanced all the way to the finals, earning a well-deserved silver medal.

Jayden also fought hard against a bigger opponent and showed great heart and determination, finishing with a valuable bronze medal.

Over the past three days, there were many challenges and unexpected moments, but every experience becomes a lesson and a foundation for growth.

We are proud of our young athletes for standing strong on a big stage.

Day 2 at the USAT East American Open — competitions always leave us with mixed emotions.

Aiden had a strong performance and advanced to the semifinals. He came up just short of the finals after a brief moment of hesitation, but still earned a valuable bronze medal.

Oliver also competed in sparring yesterday. He prepared very hard for this tournament, but unfortunately was not able to show his full ability and was eliminated in the first round. Still, the effort and preparation he put in are never wasted. Every experience becomes part of his growth.

Jayden also showed outstanding skill in Poomsae and was ahead, but unfortunately, due to a mistake by the event officials, he was not able to advance to the semifinals.

Although it was disappointing, Jayden, let’s leave everything behind and focus fully on tomorrow’s sparring. A new day brings a new opportunity.
