If you’re heading off to college this fall, entering your senior year, traveling for work, or just ready to feel stronger and more confident… this is for you.

Our Summer Self-Defense Series at Triumph Martial Arts in Urbandale and Pella is your chance to spend 90 days learning real-world skills that actually work. You’ll learn how to strike, defend, escape, and think clearly under pressure.

We had an incredible group at our recent Think SAFE Self-Defense Workshop at Triumph Martial Arts in Pella. Great energy, lots of focus, and ladies willing to step outside their comfort zones and learn something new.

This wasn’t just talking about safety. We got hands-on and trained real skills.

We worked on how to stand with confidence and awareness. How to use your voice to set boundaries and draw attention. How to minimize injury if something goes wrong. And when needed, how to fight back and create an opportunity to escape.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a great event. And a big thank you to the Pella Police Department for partnering with us to keep our community safe.

Spring Break is here, and many families are traveling or taking short trips. New places can be exciting, but they also require a little extra awareness.

When you're at a hotel, gas station, rest stop, or parking garage, keep your head up and stay aware of your surroundings.

Avoid distractions like staring at your phone while walking. And keep valuables out of sight in your vehicle.

Most dangerous situations are avoided simply by being alert and confident in unfamiliar environments.

Travel smart. Stay aware. Think SAFE.

What does the Dallas Center-Grimes (DCG) Girls Softball Team do in the off season?

This was the second (and larger!) group that came in November for training. What an amazing group!

We had a great time sharing self-defense skills with the girls youth group at Faith Christian Reformed Church last week in Pella.

These girls brought great attitude, fierce fighting spirit, and a willingness to learn that made the night a blast!
