I get retired bikes rolling again. I enjoy finding, rehabbing and selling old bikes. Some are unique and some are pretty ordinary. None of them will be expensive.

I'm mostly trying to get back the $$$ I put into getting them rolling again.

I just listed this on marketplace. Ride it like it is or adapt it to what you want in a bike. It’s very affordable. I was prepping this for a grandson then found a bike he likes better so this one can go to a new home.

Vintage and versatile and durable. That’s this mixte from Peugeot, made about 50 years ago in France. I hope you like it!

My latest refurb, a Peugeot from the early 1970’s, an AE 8 I think. Red bikes just look like fun! This one has a couple unique features. The handlebars aren’t the set that came with the bike. They’re for more upright riding than the original drop bars. And it has wing nuts on the axles, which are cool! It should ride pretty nicely!

These Campagnolo and Spidel parts came in a tote with a couple bikes and frames. I love shiny silver stuff on bikes!

Here are some pics of that Sears Tank Cruiser. It’s a seriously fun bike. The horn is included!

I just posted a bike for sale that’s a bit of a mystery, to me anyway. It’s a Schwinn with an entirely chrome frame. There were no stickers on it at all, just a “Schwinn Approved Japan” head badge. Being made in Japan it might be a LeTour, and it does have some parts marked LeTour. I’ve seen Voyageurs also in chrome. It looks like it was well cared for until the previous owner put it away for whatever reason. The cables were all locked up and the head tube didn’t move either. I replaced the cables and regreased the bearing in the head tube. New liners, tubes and tires. The rims are 27” Wolber and the hubs are Specialized so that looks like an upgrade.
It’s a large bike, 23” seat tube and a 33” stand over. Hopefully someone will enjoy the thousands of miles it has left in it!

I picked up this red beauty in Ottumwa. It was too tall for the previous owner but will fit anyone 5’5” to 5’10”, maybe more. It’s a 5 speed from maybe the early 70s if not the late 60s. It’s a steel Schwinn Suburban that should get around the suburban trails with ease! The rack and fenders make it practical even on rainy days.
