Each August we gather turkey sighting data from across New York State, and your observations help DEC biologists monitor wild turkey populations. Whether you see a flock along a back road, or a single turkey in your yard, your observation is valuable.

Registration is now OPEN for the annual New England Games and Highpower Rifle Matches!
The outdoor event is set to be held Sept. 19-27 at the Camp Ethan Allen National Guard Training Site in Vermont.
The event features a full lineup of recreational-style rifle and pistol CMP Games events and Highpower Rifle opportunities, like:
✅ Marksmanship 101 Courses (rifle, pistol)
✅ Garand/Springfield/Vintage and Modern Military (GSMM)
✅ Carbine
✅ Vintage Sniper
✅ Rimfire Sporter (more than one!)
✅ As-Issued 1911 Pistol
✅ Mid-Range
✅ EIC Matches
All suitable for those just beginning as well as those seasoned in the sport!
Sales will also be onsite, along with housing and meal opportunities (must register ahead to receive) 👍
