Harpos FC

Our club mission is to develop leaders for life, to help people excel & to support those in need. Johnny is Owner & Manager and Steve Lepper is Head Coach.

Harpos FC was founded in 1997 by CU-Boulder undergraduates Chris Hardin and Scotty Schuett. Johnny Freeston became good friends with the old school and joined as a player in 2005, took over managerial responsibilities in 2008 and built a new elite team starting in 2012. Dan Campbell is Club Captain while Kyle Luetkehans and Sawyer Frank are Captains. HFC home fields are Williams Turf Field in Superior and Broomfield Commons. We compete in CASL, the top men's league in Colorado consisting of 30 teams from across the Front Range. Our core players hail from 12 states with our average age being 25 years old. All of us have played college and semi-pro ball with some having played professionally in Australia, Denmark, Finland, Germany, MASL, USL, NASL and MLS.

We are hyped for Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Qualifying Tournament with pairings announced next week! For those not familiar it is a national knockout competition. We need to win 4 games between September-November to qualify as one of the 16 amateur teams from across the 🇺🇸 for the tournament proper in March 2027. LFG🔥

It was an epic fun-filled weekend at the Vail Tournament 🔥🏆🎉 We had 4 teams go up, everyone showed out, and our club earned 2 new trophies. There was bonding, passing on club traditions and making new memories together. It’s always special for veterans, core and newbies to connect on and off the pitch. We had 💯 Harpos coaching, playing and supporting across the valley. Our trip concluded with the World Cup Final watch party. Congratulations to Spain🥇Colorado summertime in the mountains hits different 🩷🖤🩶💙

We started spring season full of focus, but hit some hurdles with injuries, illnesses and travel. However, our Men’s 1st Team adapted well and finished strong. We are proud to win our 15th Colorado Premier League title 🏆🎉🫶 Left Hand Brewing Company

We had a fun filled weekend and earned some big wins in the hunt for Colorado Premier League Playoffs. OG finished well in the latter second half. Black showed out 🖤 FC was a lil makeshift but took care of business. Pink battled hard. Mile High got the dub and vital clean sheet. We endured cool Colorado rain and lightning delays for Colorado Premier League OG got back on track, Black kept up their good form, and FC battled a familiar foe. Mile High and Pink continued their diligent development against tough opposition. Lot session with new bros and WAGs was on point. Colorado is a soccer state and Denver is a soccer city 💜🩵🧡💚 We enjoyed the return of Lindsey Heaps and USWNT win over Japan WNT while Colorado Rapids vs Inter Miami with Lionel Messi was epic. We capped off the futbol frenzy with five games in Colorado Premier League All of our Harpos teams are building, earning important wins and our best is yet to come 💯 Left Hand Brewing Company
